Immerse yourself in music 🎵 - An excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in sound and music. With many interactive aspects this venue is good for all ages and you don't need to be a classical music super fan. There's the opportunity to create a waltz, to compare sounds and how we respond. You can even have a go at conducting the Vienna Philharmonic. Whilst it suggests 60-90 minutes for a visit you can spend a lot longer, especially if you are into classical music and composers.

Informative and interactive art and science experience, friendly staff - Interaktive experience, very informative and exciting. I liked the rooms of the GOAT composers, it felt like a time capsule with their music style playing Very friendly staff in the reception and in the gift shop. Central location

It is an absolute must for any music lover and covers lots of interesting facts about composers but also hands on experience of musical sounds and sound waves making it a suitable experience for people of all ages. Fun for adults and teens - We visited this museum with our two teenagers, and everyone found something they enjoyed. We learned a little about music, its history, and its composers, and we enjoyed several different interactive exhibits. One son most loved conducting a virtual orchestra (they respond to your baton waving), and the other enjoyed the piano notes on the stairs. We also got to experience playing around to compose our own waltz, and close-up information about multiple famous composers and their works. We spent close to two hours here and enjoyed our time. It is also nice that this museum is open relatively late (until 10 PM the day we visited) so you can see it later in the day, when many other things are already closed.

A different take on a music museum - The Haus der Musik manages to present a very interesting and compelling experience despite not having a huge collection of items. It was an innovative take on music, and a very enjoyable museum to visit.

Music and sound, displays, hands on,period buildings, baggage storage free of charge, shop. - We came here on a wet day, inside, situated in the heart of vienna,as ,nearly all museums in Vienna are expensive,we decided to do two museums, getting another thrown in for one price,30 euros for this and the MOZART HAUS ,for both of us. WE spent 4 hours here, reading descriptions of all the displays, interacting with the hands on items, something for all lovers of sound and music. Immaculate toilets, wash facilites. There are lifts for ,each level or stairs in a period building, well worth half a day here, and then on to Mozarts house.,for another 3 hours.

Waste of time and money - A complete and invalid collection of copies and effects. Totally no matter. Totally ignorant. Waste of time. Waste of money. Absolutely only for kids.
