Great tour! - The tour is very well organized. Sylvia is very kind and her language skills are impressive as she switches with ease from English to Spanish to German and to Italian. We had a wonderful time.

Nice historical scenery to join near the city - Able to see the towns leading to the Abbey. The guide also explained and gave info about places we passed thru which was added bonus to us . This trip may not be suitable for travellers who have difficulties in walking unless he will not go down the stairs from the abbey to the shops. Also i was really hot, you need to bring cap or umbrella and extra shirt. Driver was skilled driver, we had a safe trip

Great cruise, nice abbey, too rushed - The first stop where Richard Lionheart was imprisoned was a disappointment. You literally have time to run to toilet, speedwalk to one scenic point and speedwalk right back! On good side, enjoyed the Danube cruise and the bus ride through gorgeous countryside. Guide was good. The abbey was impressive but I would have preferred a shorter tour inside the abbey and more time for exploring abbey gardens and for shopping the unique food products at abbey.

Thomas, our tour guide,... - Thomas, our tour guide, was an expert linguist and thoroughly described the sights we were seeing in a fun and witty manner. The Danube Valley is beautiful, the boat ride down the river was the highlight, and the Melk Abbey was historic. Great day out of the city.

Worth it. - It’s a great way to see a lot of territory in a short time. Collection point easy to find, walks are short, and river cruise very relaxing. Lunch break at Melk a bit too long (we ate on the boat) and we spent the time in Melk’s garden and observation area.

Good experience - Very enjoyable experience. I especially liked the visit to Melk Abbey -- what a beautiful church and an amazing library. I had trouble navigating the narrow, uphill streets of Durnstein. But the overall experience was excellent.

Nice tour that would have been nicer - We loved the tour, however the allocated time to visit the old Town in Melk was very short and we wanted to explore more. The guide "I cannt recall her name" had no good interactions with the tourists and whenever we stop at a place she keeps to herself, we felt she is just doing her job and not passionate about it. The Danube river boat ride was amazing but think it should be limited to one hour or 45 minutes instead of 1.5 hours, this would have given more time at the other stops.

Not value for mo ey - It's started very well but starting the boat tour everything was not ok , firstly the bus stopped very far away from the boat secondly the boat was full prior to our embarkment and all the tables were reserved it already people are having lunch it looked not organized at all and not worth it and if you are not interested in visiting the Melk Abbey you are wasting time waiting for others and because of this experience the trip was not worth it for me may be be others have better experience

Not wheelchair accessible - Despite being advertised as wheelchair accessible and the transport specifically being advertised as wheelchair accessible, the tool was most definitely NOT wheelchair accessible. Apparently wheelchair accessible means you can walk. Very disappointed as was looking forward to the trip. No refund offered on the day or alternative transportation. Now going for a large apple strudel to cheer myself up.
