Spent a whole morning visiting the Danube Tower - highly recommend - There isn’t a U-Bahn close to the tower, so we walked through the (lovely) park to get here. Upon arrival there is a short film you can watch before heading up in the fast elevator. At the top there is loads of space to walk around & the views are excellent in every direction. The slide is also a lot of fun & only slightly scary!

Aperitif with 360 degree panorama - We climbed the tower. Already on the first level, on the outdoor terrace, the view is spectacular. We sat at the bar, upstairs, where over two aperitifs and a sacher cakes with hot chocolate and cream, we enjoyed a ride and a half from the tower (the bar, in fact, rotates slowly) with panorama at sunset in Vienna. Recommendation to everyone to go there

Never regret doing it - I was pretty happy that i did not miss doing this while in Vienna for first time.. the weather was partially cloudy and bit rainy but up there a strong wind was waiting for everyone.. I was lucky to meet one guy of the restaurant to ask him if possible to get a table for a drink… and he was very kind to get me one… where i had a big beer and later on a coffee with sochertarte (the very famous sweet in Vienna), which the price (based on the location and place is very reasonable) PS. I booked the ticket online and was very easy access

A unique excursion;) - The cafe and restaurant were great! You had a unique view of the city, as the restaurant turned slowly in a circle. Our highlight in the cafe was the chicken salad. Downstairs the shop was stocked with everything and not crowded. Also the slide was super cool.

Donautum and Donaupark - Stunning view over Vienna. Lift going really fluid. Slide down from restaurant level to viewing gallery is cool. Also, the park around Donauturm is a great place for a walk: Donaupark offers nice gardens, a lake, a railway, and several playgrounds for familis with children.

Tower 👍🏻 Slide 👎 - The view on the tower was great! 👍🏻 Even if the weather was a bit cloudy... but good, you can't do anything about it! But the slide was a joke! Not recommended!😱

Good time - Glad we did it but nothing exciting. Had to pay $5 per person for the slide. Kids enjoyed the slide, but something I would only do once in my lifetime

Stop at the terrace - Unique and beautiful experience also for me who suffer from dizziness. Recommendation to everyone to do so but I should not stop at the bar, rude staff who influenced my experience. We went in and nobody calculated us, I call a waiter who was in the room and he makes us sit at a table. After 10 minutes that no one brought us a menu I recall the same guy as before who was setting some tables near ours, I ask for a mojito and with great rudeness he replied that that was not a cocktail bar but a coffee throwing a menu on the table. It went on again but I prefer to stop there.

Well - My personal opinion is that it is a cheek to charge Euro 4.50 for parking per hour. If the admission / ride up and down with the lift alone costs Euro 18,-. LG Marina
