After the guided tour, use approx. three hours of free time to independently explore the city, shop in famous Vaci Street, or have lunch in one of numerous central restaurants. The tour continues by meeting your driver at a designated location, and continuing your way to the Citadel.
- Citadel - Short drive from the city center is 19th century fortress Citadel. Set on top of Gellert Hill, the Citadel offers excellent panoramic view of Budapest, Danube and its eight bridges. Get your camera ready and enjoy the view from the historical fortress. The tour concludes with approx. 2.5 hours drive back to your hotel/accommodation in Vienna.

Great Day Trip - We had an amazing experience and an amazing tour guide. We made friends with him and he was so educated about the area. Would do this again! Budapest is a beautiful place!

Excellent Trip - Our driver Romano picked us up promptly from our location. We had a pleasant and comfortable drive to Budapest. We were dropped off right with our private walking tour guide. The tour was wonderful and we learned a lot.
Romano was easy to contact through iMessages and responsive to where we were and what we needed. After the tour we were driven to two more sites on the other side of the river. They had great views of the city.
So glad I booked this tour and would recommend it.

Budapest Private Day Tour - Darko was our driver for this tour. He was punctual and accommodating. Darko was very knowledgeable about a lot of cities and gave me some useful tips & suggestions. During the tour at Budapest, we wanted to enjoy the coffee & lunch at the famous New York Cafe. Darko arranged with the tour guide to take us there and pick us up from such a busy district. We enjoyed the ride and my kids had a great time during the whole tour.

Private day trip from Vienna to Budapest - Pedja, our driver, was punctual, friendly, and professional. His car was clean and comfortable for the ride to Budapest and back. Great day in Budapest - Professional, knowledgeable and friendly! Darco was wonderful and made our day trip a breeze. We were picked up promptly and our drive was comfortable. Our 2 hour tour in Budapest was nice with great suggestion for restaurants. Overall a great day experiencing Budapest.

Highly recommended trip to Budapest - We had a wonderful time on this trip. Our driver Pedja was on time. He had contacted me yesterday to tell me that we should carry our passports in case of any checking. Pedja was very informative about life in Vienna and also in his native place in Serbia. His car is very comfortable and Pedja also took care of our comforts in Budapest. He is a very pleasant person to talk to. Once in Budapest, we met our guide Orsi. She is so high on energy and was always smiling. Orsi answered all our questions patiently. She told us the history of Budapest in those 2 hours and also showed us the beautiful architecture of the city. The water fountain that you can sit and start was also nice. And finally Orsi told us about the best places to eat Langos and Chimney Cake. Overall an excellent trip for us. Will recommend to all tourists in Vienna who want to have a great private experience.

Great tour of Budapest - Our family just got back from our trip and we really enjoyed this tour. Our tour driver Darko was one of the highlights. Really informative and entertaining. He provided loads of information on life in Vienna and the region. Our tour guide in Budapest was also really great. She provided a great history lesson of the significance of the statues and buildings in the main part of Pest.
