Morro Dois Irmaos - We will hike up one of Rio’s highest favelas or Comunidades along the famous Two Brothers mountain. This hike can be at Sunrise, Mid Day or Sunset. Here you will learn what a Favela is, you will experience amazing views and a cultural food experience.

Please bring sneakers, Shoes or hiking boots. Hiking with flip-flops or sandals is not recommended and can make the hike uncomfortable!

Meet at the park called Praça do Vidigal....We will meet in the square near the stage. You can take Uber, 99 Taxi or Metro to Leblon, Antero de Quental station and take a Van or bus to the square of Vidigal.

Incredible views, first ones up for excellent spots! Sunset was PERFECT! - Really good hike, perfect communication, very easy to deal with their agency. We had Ricardo as our guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We did have to bring 20brl extra which was fine, I paid them when meeting up. The hike was about 50mins and the views were spectacular! This was the first of various tours done with Experience Rio and Henry's team. Highly recommend without a doubt.

Great Hike - My group really enjoyed this hike! Our tour guide was friendly, and spoke English and Portuguese which made it easy to communicate. The hike was moderate pace, beautiful scenery with great photo options along the route. Our guide was informative and fun!

Well worth it - without doubt! - It was great! Super friendly guide, felt very safe, took great pictures. Loved it! Was asked to leave slightly earlier (2.30am) which ended up being fantastic as we arrived and got a perfect spot before the crowds arrived.

Ricardo is awesome!... - Ricardo is awesome! Incredible hike with magical views. It rained for a little bit but now it’s just something to laugh at! Would highly recommend this for anyone coming to Rio! You can’t miss it!

I had a truly incredible... - I had a truly incredible experience! The company had a really fast response time, and all of my questions and concerns were answered before the tour. The tour guide, Ricardo, was FANTASTIC! Easily the best tour guide of the trip, he was friendly, helpful, kind and really knowledgeable about Brazil and life in the favelas. Can’t recommend it enough, especially if you are active and like adventure! Sunrise was super early but so worth it, especially to get prime seats on the mountain top.

We love to do guided trips with small groups and this trip is exactly why. - Get ready for the most memorable day, plan well, listen to Henry's advice and hopefully see epic sights as we did and experience life and a vibrancy that I'd almost forgotten existed. Do the hike with Henry! - Took the Dois Irmaos hike with Henry with a little ride through the favela, what a cool experience that was! Henry knows his way around the favela and the locals, which felt reassuring and more safe. plus he knows all the secret spots throughout the hike which provide amazing views, which were an extra bonus that you might not get to see if u are doing the hike without a guide. Henry is also hilarious and we laughed the whole way through, so totally recommend doing the hike or other Rio activities with him! :)

Beautiful sunset and not too busy. Also very hot! - I did the sunset hike. Henry provided lots of information about the city, good energy going up while keeping the group engaged. We were the first up and last down, we got amazing views as the sunset was over the ocean. I saw a few other groups at the top but maybe 15 max, so its was really peaceful. After the hike, Henry got us beers, which was nice and we left from the same meeting place, Praça do Vidigal. Definitely can recommend.

Pay for a service I didn't have - They cancelled my walk because of bad weather, so far all understandable. It's been almost a week and they haven't refunded me. My only contact was the guide who asked me not to write to him anymore because he had nothing to do with it anymore, that my problem was directly with Viator, he was emphatic that I didn't look for him, very rude!!
