The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the Spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species. The Sunset cruise is very popular and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks.

A beautiful night on the river - We started our holiday with a Sundowner Cruise on the Zambezi River and it was spectacular! Such a great way to kick off the adventure. Good food, friendly hosts and lots of hippos!

Perfect Way to End the Day! - The sundowner cruise was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Watching the sunset over the Zambezi River with a drink in hand was pure magic. The boat was comfortable, the vibe was mellow, and the crew was friendly and attentive. It was such a relaxing experience and definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Complete Your Day With This Superb Dinner Cruise! - I went with a group as an optional tour from a Kiboko Safari and was it worth it!!!!
We left just before sunset and saw lots of hippopotamuses (hippopotami??), crocodiles, elephants and birdlife.
And then the sunset!! Absolutely gorgeous.
The dinner was superb: beautifully plated, hot and tasty. Dessert was to die for.
Service was excellent.
Can highly recommend this to finish off a day touring around Victoria Falls.

Beautiful journey down the Zambezi - Lovely crew and seamless pick up from our hotel. The boat was very comfy. Generous drinks and snacks. We were lucky to see many hippos on our journey and the sunset was gorgeous.

Sunset Magic on the Zambezi - Our sunset cruise on the Zambezi was absolutely wonderful! The scenery was stunning, and we enjoyed lovely snacks and drinks on board. We spotted hippos, waterbuck, and a variety of birdlife, making it a wildlife lover's dream. A huge shoutout to Captain Jameson and the crew for their excellent service and knowledge. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Zambezi River.

Peaceful way to spend the evening - Peaceful evening on the boat. Met some lovely people and saw so many hippos and birds.
Sunset was beautiful.
Only criticism is you could offer drinks more frequently as we had to keep asking for a top up and we requested veggie food but got served meat.

Avoid if you can - Booked a sunset cruise with Wild Horizons. Thought I was getting the Zambezi. Instead, I got the car park at my hotel.
They didn’t show up. Called five minutes after the pickup time – “oh yeah, we’ll send a driver.” Forty-five minutes later, still standing there like a lemon. Called again. Their solution? “Come on a breakfast cruise tomorrow.” Brilliant. Nothing says “romantic African sunset” like cold eggs and instant coffee at 8 a.m.
Told them I wouldn’t. Asked for a refund. Had to remind them reception was closing in ten minutes, otherwise I’d have been stood there arguing with a locked door. Emailed afterwards, said I might forgive the shambles if they refunded and rebooked for another date. They ghosted me for two days. I’ve had better communication from dead relatives.
So, if you fancy paying for a cruise and instead experiencing the unique thrill of waiting around in shorts while the mosquitoes eat you alive, this is the outfit for you.
