Well worth the cost - It was not clear from the activity description what exactly was included. We had planned to visit the falls on both sides without a guide. That would have been easy enough. However aside from the guides, the real value was in the shuttle and assistance through the immigration process across to Zambia and back to Zimbabwe. We did not see tourists walking the route, although the distance is reasonable. Being guided where to go and what to do and being taken from place to place through the process was nice. Our provider Cuckoo missed one pick-up and we had to wait a while but other than that, it was smooth. Our guide in the Zimbabwe side, Prudence, was a joy.

Very nice tour with competent guides - We were picked up from the hotel on time and only then explored the Zambian side with Mike, our guide. We were so around 8:30 am at Victoria Falls, so there were still few tourists on the road. Mike then took us to the border in Zimbabwe, where another guide took the lead on the Zimbabwean side of the falls. It is absolutely worth seeing both sides. And now in August the water level is medium, so you can also see the falls very well, although you still get a little wet due to the spray:-)
Zimbabwe charges $30 per person for the visa and $50 per person for admission to the cases. That’s quite rough, since the visa is free of charge in Zambia and admission costs only $20 per person. Aber once-in-a-lifetime :-)

A great experience - Shelton was our guide on the Zimbabwe side and Delphista our guide for the Zambia side of Victoria Falls. Both guides were professional and knowledgeable. A couple of things that also enhanced our experience - Shelton carried a guide book to birds which he shared with us and Delphista made sure we got great family photos. Highly recommend both guides and the VF experience.

Incredible - Went on a tour of the Victoria Falls on both sides with guides Delphister and Shelton Both guides were incredible. Explained the history of Victoria Falls, very objectively and handled the topic of colonial rule and its effects sensitively. They were very patient with us and let us take our time, took some incredible of us in front of Victoria Falls. Would highly recommend both Delphister and Shelton. Shelton also made sure we got a ride back from our evening Safari back to the Zambian side. Highly appreciated.

Stunning tour of Victoria Falls - Stunning day at Victoria Falls...
Did both the Zimbabwe side (with Shelton) and the Zambia side (with Delphister).
Very lucky to have such heavy flows in August, both sides of the falls were stunning
Zambia side was even more dramatic than the Zimbawbe side.
Make sure you do the tour to both sides.

Zimbabwe and Zambia Vicfalls Walk tour - We had an incredible experience with Cuckoo Tours exploring Victoria Falls on both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides. The entire day was well organised and smooth, and our guides, Langa and Delphister, were absolutely outstanding.
They were knowledgeable, friendly, and deeply passionate about the Falls, sharing fascinating insights into the history and even the future geographical changes. Their storytelling and attention to detail made the tour both educational and memorable.
However, for the amount of money paid for the tour, it’ll be nice to have snacks and water provided, considering that we paid for the tour and entrance fees for ourselves.
Thanks to Langa and Delphister, their professionalism and warmth, our visit to Victoria Falls was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Cuckoo Tours to anyone visiting the area, you’ll be in excellent hands!

Magnificent Vic Falls - Prudence and Delphister were friendly and knowledgeable guides. Take water as it was very hot even in the morning especially on Zambia side.

Stunning Falls, But Tour Could Be Better Timed - The Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides were absolutely breathtaking – truly a must-see.
However, the time management could have been improved. We spent a long time on the Zimbabwe side, mostly waiting for photo stops, which left us rushed on the Zambia side and unable to see it in full. This was especially tricky as we had a sunset cruise booked for later, and by 3 pm we were still in Zambia.
The provider helped get us to the cruise on time, which we appreciated, but a miscommunication meant no return transport was arranged afterward.
With better pacing and clearer coordination, this tour could easily be a 5-star experience. The views are unforgettable – just be sure your schedule allows enough time for both sides.
