Lovely day, lovely wineries and lovely scenery - Lots of fun with no hassle. It was nice to leave the driving to someone else. We visited 3 wineries, a small one, a medium one and a large one. I ordered an extra personal pizza at the second one and it was excellent. We had a nice selection of wine tastes at each stop. The scenery of the wineries location in the Cowichan Valley was very beautiful. I went solo but had a nice time connecting with international visitors and locals.

Great winery tour - Great winery tour. Scott was very personable and informative, efficient and adaptable. Cherry Point was a very personable experience at a smaller winery with tasting overseen by the owner. Only minor negative was a few things re Blue Grouse visit. It was rather impersonal, with no history shared as I remember and wine descriptions rather technical. Also, seating at picnic tables was not great ambiance and not so good for those needing back support. Charcuterie there was a bit skimpy given it was lunch.

Relaxing and Well-Organized Wine Experience - We had a great day on this tour to the Cowichan Valley. Scott, our guide, was friendly and easygoing, and the van rides between wineries were comfortable. The timing at each stop was well organized — since we were quicker at some tastings, we ended up with more time at others, which worked out nicely. The charcuterie was a nice touch, and the wineries themselves were beautiful. Just know that tastings in Canada are fairly small pours (about 1.5–2 oz), so if you want more, plan to buy a glass or bottle. The charcuterie was tasty, but I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a full meal, so it helps to have a meal before or after the tour. Overall, a really nice experience and I’m glad we went. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing way to explore the valley without worrying about driving.

Wine, Women (& Men) and Song - It was a fun tour - great guide, convivial participants, a good variety of wines & wineries. Our favorite was the Blue Grouse both for the wines & food. We esp enjoyed the guide’s playlist although our karaoke singing might have been improved with the addition of a screen displaying the lyrics at the front of the van.

Had a great experience and would use CCT again. - We had a wonderful experience on our wine/ craft beer tour in Victoria. Our guide Scott was funny and informative about Victoria. I would not hesitate to use CCT again and would recommend them to others. Here’s what I liked about CCT: 1- we arrived at 1:30 from our cruise and CCT helped design a tour to fit our schedule because we also wanted to get dropped off at Butchart Gardens. 2- good communication. When you arrange a private tour from a cruise you are always a little anxious but not with CCT. They provided text messages leading up to date and called before we existed the ship with specific meeting instructions. 3- all the places visited knew we coming and were prepared. It might be good to preorder food for each place.

Warning - Not small group - When we booked, the description stated that this was a small group tour with a max of 15 people, but there were 25 people not including the tour guide, which was disappointing since I wouldn't have selected this excursion if I knew that would be the case. We had bad luck and our bus broke down on the mountain (unclear if almost double the group size crammed on the bus played a role), resulting in an hour and a half long delay before a new bus was provided. The wine pours at especially the second winery were so small that many of us joked about there only being 2 sips worth of wine per pour. The other passengers were lovely though.
