We participated in the... - We participated in the tour on 8/21/25 as a group of 4. Our entire group was 9. Our guide was Michael. He was on time considerate and very mindful of the group. The tour was just as described including the small bites and sample drinks. The walk was easy and so was the pace. Michael was very knowledgeable of the city and its history. He eagerly answered all of our questions as well as those posed by the group. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk/tour as it was our first visit to Victoria and it allowed us to see downtown and familiarize ourselves.

Great excursions for BC! - Our guide Michael was so amazing! He took us all great local sits and explained the areas in great detail. I felt like I was on a private tour of BC! The pace and expertise was on point and just the perfect amount of time for it all. Hopefully you get Michael as part of this excursion. The price was also priced great for the amount of tour!

Lovely time - Had such a good time on this tour. Our tour guide Fish was very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew so much of the history and you could tell he enjoyed what he was doing.

Beautiful city with an incredible history and the BEST guide - Our guide Julie was AMAZING!!!! So friendly and passionate about the history of Victoria! Every story she shared with such enthusiasm. She knew so much and was so excited about sharing with us! And she LOVES the real Poutine at Garricks!! I could have listened to her for hours and hours. She made this so fun and memorable! The bites and beverages were so good, too!! Well chosen!

Short but fun tour! - So much fun! It was a simple tour, but Fish was both entertaining and informative. You have a real gem in that tour guide. As someone traveling alone, this was a great way to learn more about Victoria.

A fun afternoon full of history, experiences and food/drink. - We had the best time during this tour. Our time was full of history, exploration, bites and drinks. We visited so many sites via harbor boat and on foot. Would 100% recommend.

An Excursion Not to Miss! - Request Gary! Professional, friendly, approachable and he definitely knows the history of Victoria. We recommend this excursion to anyone coming to Victoria - learn a very interesting history and get to know the lay of the land as well.

Our walking tour guide... - Our walking tour guide was very knowledgable about Victoria and its history. She showed us a very customized tour which included Victoria's China Town complete with a fascinating historical overview, The Empress Hotel, Canadian Parliament, and several pubs and cafés. We were looking for some live music to hear that evening, and she recommended and took us to several establishments that had live musical entertainment in the evening. We tasted a drink called "Shaft", which was weirdly delicious. We sampled what we were told was the best Poutine she had ever tasted. (We're not a big fan of Poutine, but it was interesting, none the less). We traveled to China Town from Parliament in a water taxi, viewed the harbor from the water, and learned about their fabulous drawbridge and much of Victoria's history. All in all, it was a very comprehensive and enjoyable walking tour, well worth the money. [Full disclosure: this was supposed to be a group tour, but we were the only people to show up, so it was a particularly private and customized tour curated for our particular interests. It was fantastic!].

Fun and informative taste of history! - What a wonderful way to experience Victoria! Our guide, Gary, gave us the real scoop on this beautiful city while taking us through China Town, the inner harbor and other hotspots. We went with our kids (22, 19 and 14) and this held their attention the whole time. Yummy little samples of food, too!
