- Five Star Whale Watching - Check-in procedures will follow at our office meeting location. Afterwards, the vessel departs from a nearby dock. The route reflects recent wildlife activity, and your experienced marine guide/ Captain will steer for the best places to see animals!
During the 3 hour Ultimate Marine Whale and Wildlife Tour, we will travel through the waters of the Salish Sea in search of various whales & other marine life. The Salish Sea includes the local waters around Southern Vancouver Island and is a rich marine environment that attracts multiple species of whales and other marine life!
Keep your camera ready, watching for orcas (killer whales), humpback whales, minke whales, gray whales, dolphins as well as both Dall’s porpoises and harbor porpoises. Harbour seals, Steller sea lions and California sea lions can be seen off Vancouver Island, and more than 127 species of marine birds can also be seen in the region.

Fantastic - The tour operator and captain Definitely know what they are doing and kept us well informed. They even stay out a bit longer so we could see another whale.

A highlight of our family vacation - Our family had a wonderful time on this tour. Gordon (Captain) and Mika (Naturalist) did a great job leading our adventure and leading us to wildlife. Our day out didn’t have much in terms of whales—one sleepy humpback who surfaced pretty regularly, and sadly no Orcas…but that’s how it goes sometimes. It’s a big sea, and as Mika said, sometimes spotting the whales is like finding a needle in a haystack.
All in all, a memorable afternoon I’ll cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Gordon and Mika.

Orcas! - I have been on 15 whale watch trips in my life. I have a degree in Biology and am a science teacher. I know a bit about whales.
I have NEVER experienced such good service as I had from Gordon and Genevieve. WOW!
SUPER NICE and knowledgeable. They made the trip more fun.
I have waited 50 years to see Orcas and was lucky that Gordon found 4, including this mom and baby (pictured below).
WELL WORTH THE COST!

Amazing Whale Sightings! - Our Captain Gordon was amazing! Knew exactly where to find the whales and was very aware of not stressing the whales. We saw Orca and Humpback and had a great time on the 12 person boat up close and personal! Would definitely book again and recommend!

Excellent whale watching trip - We saw a lot of whales - one getting quite near to the boat. Our guide and boat captain were excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very safe in their hands and would recommend this trip.

Great sunset tour with small group - This was a great tour! Our Captain, Gordon and Mika, the naturalist onboard, were knowledgeable, kept us safe and we saw several pods of Orcas on the sunset tour. We loved that it was a small group!

Not very good - The boat was very uncomfortable not really suitable, you really could not move around. The naturalist wasn't very knowledgeable. The boat captain stayed in one place for most of the trip. I understand that the animals appear when they want to but it just seemed like a waste of money.
