Great experience - Had a great experience with Roberto!
Each spot had a good vibe, and Roberto did an excellent job of bringing the group together. Would definitely recommend!

Fun with adult children - We had a great tour, Lewis, our guide was fun and informative. The water taxi was great to get around and see the harbor sites.

Absolute Blast - We had a great time in this tour. Our guide Roberto did his absolute best to make sure we all had a good time - and he completely delivered. It was a great way to explore the city and not have to worry about finding your way around. The 4 stops were all unique and we were treated to snacks at each one. We had the added bonus of traveling with a group of family and friends celebrating a birthday. They were so welcoming and made the whole experience even more fun. Highly recommend this tour!!

10/10 Would Book Again! - This was hands down my favorite tour of our trip. It was so cool being able to see all the different areas and have snacks and drinks along the way. 10/10 would do again!

Definitely a fun “pickling” for a weekend holiday! - Very fun afternoon in Victoria! Met some new people, tried some tasty snacks, and had delicious drinks. Two short ferry rides, no issues with seasickness. David was a great guide for our group!

Review of picklboat - Great experience! Boat captains were fun and added to the experience
The only negative was we had hoped for more open patio experiences & instead, we’re seated inside at Darcy’s ( vacant/no one else there) and same again at swans, which we walked to & from both venues
Would have enjoyed more than 2 boat rides to patios like Lure and Glo which was requested when booked.
Otherwise great group of women and we had a blast!

Fun Day in a Victoria - Lewis our guide was very informative and did an excellent job getting us around. He really know his stuff. The ferry ride (water taxi) was great. Fun way to experience Fisherman Wharf. Things ran on time. The first two stops were great. The third one could have been better. The last one was fun. Pinball was a bonus. Over all a fun way to see Victoria.

Could have been better. - Fun activity but would have liked more of the boat and better appetizers. The appetizers were good but wish they were more substantial than chips or fries.

Disappointing - Arrived and waited by a 'Please wait to be seated' sign at the front of the first restaurant (not really a pub) with 6 other people from the tour. We were there about 15 mins, nice other people but not a welcoming or professional start! The 'guide' who was nice enough was sat with his back to the door chatting to 4 other tours participants! A green waistcoat but no other indication of being the tour!
We then took forever to be served, paying individually for drinks takes time, the snacks provided were difficult to share (congealed nachos!) and we were then told we were running behind time!
The next stop is cute, we sat in full sun and no facilitation occurred to try to find a better table. 'Snacks' were piles of wedges only, not even good ones and we were expected to tip for going to a counter, ordering a drink in a plastic cup and collecting it from another counter! Not sure what the 'service' was but we all did anyway!
Next a hotel rather than a pub. Cocktail list presented. Cold sprouts as the 'snack'. The waitress added 18% tip on top of sales tax and came with the card machine which prompted a further request for a tip on top! (To each person individually again!)
At this point the idea of having drinks included came up. Basically you are paying for 2 short water taxi rides!
Last a noisy pub with screens all over on the corner of the tourist area, not exactly a 'hidden gem', nothing interesting drink wise and some white packet 'pittas' and 'hummus' was given.
That was the end. It was all rather lacklustre and we all commented that some information about the sights or the city would have been appreciated. Even local specialities as the snacks!
Might be just what you are looking for or not!
I've done some brilliant bar/pub tours, this wasn't one of them! It wasn't awful, the guide was on his University holidays, he was pleasant. It was just uninspiring and not thoughtfully arranged.

Avoid - Very disappointed spent more time walking then on ferry ride. Drinks were not included not fully explained in description, snacks based on number of drinks purchased by group, nachos then chips and salsa at 2 different places, cheese pizza at last stop, no stops cultural to the area. Don't think arcade bar is really appropriate. Stops really had nothing to do with history of the town and guide had some knowledge to share as we walked but minimal. No return to starting point so cost $15 for cab back.
