We are located in Vestmannaeyjar ( Heimaey), which is an island in south island. We are just 1.minute away from the ferry terminal in Vestmannaeyjar and 5-7 minutes away from the cruise ship port. You will find us at the harbour in a small black and blue house with Puffin signs above.

100% worth it, one of the most memorable things we did in Iceland - Absolutely awesome, one of our tour highlights was we got to see one of the birds our guide's son rescued from town and see it fly off into the ocean. Really great tour, highly recommend.

Great Fun and Informative! - Tour was more than expected! Audio system on tour bus was best I've heard. Guide was fun and VERY informative. Don't miss this tour---in short time, you get a wondeful feel for the island, history and the people. Climbing demo for securing bird eggs was a bonus! Well paced tour without rush. Anecdote about young puffins picked up in the streets and let loose in the waters was one-of-a-kind,,,complete with small puffin up close. Best tour of the whole trip!

Best tour in Iceland - I found this tour because Rick Steves said it was the best tour. He was correct! We had a jam-packed adventure with great commentary, I felt I learned a lot. And enjoyed every minute.

Just Wonderful - Our tour was one of the best we'd ever had. Ebbi was our guide & driver. He was excellent. We saw much of the island, the puffin colony and learned about the volcanic eruption that occurred in 1973. In addition saw the beautiful golf course that's there. As others have written, Ebbi was able to show us a baby puffin that his children were helping. The baby puffin had lost its sense of direction the prior night. It was a wonderful experience & we learned much about the island.

Puffins, Volcano and much more! - It was a cold & windy day. We had planned to do a RIB safari tour, but given the weather, we opted for the Eyjatour minibus tour. Was that ever a good call! Ebbi was fabulous. Despite all the hype that puffins would be gone, they leave later in Heimaey Island than the rest of Iceland. In fact, it was fledgling departure time and the babies were coming out at moonlight to fly the coop - only it wasn't always moonlight, it was streetlight for those nesting near the town of Vestmannaeyjar. The locals scoop them up from the streets, feed them shrimp to give them a good start, then release them the next day. Ebbi brought one of those along on our tour to release! Seeing a baby puffin up close and personal was amazing. Then he showed us the sights - he did the rock climb/swing to demonstrate how kids learn to climb the rocks to collect bird eggs. He took us to some famous-ish Viking sights including the Viking museum, and shared stories/lore about the early Viking settlers. He took us to the main area where the remaining puffins were congregated - where one of our group got to release the baby out to sea. It was heartwarming to see the little guy fly off for his 2 years at sea before returning. Ebbi explained all things puffin and their journey is amazing. Then we moved on to the volcano; his story is personal as his mother was a young woman when Eldfell erupted and was evacuated with his grandparents. He shared stories of his family's return to the island after the evacuation order was lifted. And he showed us the town sights. It was a great 2 hours and well worth our time - we learned so much. And he dropped us off near a new brewery - Brothers Brewery & Taphouse - another great find!

Best two hour tour! - Our two hour tour on Heimaey Island was so much fun. We had a great tour of the island with a local guide, Ebbi. He entertained us with his stories of island life. The highlight was seeing hundreds of puffins up close on the hillsides. We had several stops with lots of walking including into the vocano crater. Don't miss this tour if you go to the Westman Islands.

Knowledgeable and friendly guide. - Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and a bonus we saw puffins before they left the island. Would recommend, much better than a ships tour as there was only about 16 of us.
