Herve was a fantastic... - Herve was a fantastic tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. He even spoke French with our daughter, who is still learning the language, and was so kind about all her work. Highly recommended!!

Outstanding tour with a wonderful guide - Zara rocks! Our guide was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and very measured in her narrative delivery. She told us about Paris on the drive over to Versailles. She told us all about Louis IV and the construction and operation of Versailles. She really made the experience outstanding. She used a microphone with each of our party having a personal earbud/receiver which is an absolute must in such a popular destination. Ask for Zara.

Private Tours are the best! - We had a great time with Kevin. He has a very nice car and we enjoyed the trip to and from the Castle of Versailles. His knowledge and light humor was very fun and I highly recommend a private tour with him. We moved along well with no one else to wait for. Worth the money and a great time!

Sebastian made our tour special - Sebastian was so knowledgeable about Versaille and its history. The hotel pick up and drop off was such a luxury and it was such a special experience. We just can’t say enough wonderful things about our Versaille tour.

Must do private guide! - Our guide was fantastic. I'm in a wheelchair and he handles everything superbly. Had great knowledge for all ages. And got us to the front of everything too.

Andre was an incredible... - Andre was an incredible tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and a pleasure to converse with. Versailles is by far the most extravagant place I’ve ever been to and I wish we’d have had more time to explore its depths even more. Highly recommended tour!

A lot of money for a ride and the worst tour ever. - This was a lot of money to spend for a ride., because that's about all we got. Our driver did show up on time but Sunday even introduced himself. When we arrived at Versailles he gave the worst tour I have ever experienced at Versailles or any other historic place. All I can say is if you book this tour call the tour company and make sure you don't get sent a man named Chris.

Horrible tour! Avoid - I do not recommend this tour, it was the worst experience of our trip. First there was no communication from the vendor prior to, which is customary as I have been traveling for decades. The instructions on the site say that you will be collected at 830am in your lobby. We were there at 820 and I sent communication in the Viator app, as that was all I had at 820. Thus horribly rude man came into our lobby shouting at us at 822am, asking what my name was. I said yes and he said why didn’t I notify the bell captain I was there and why haven’t you been answering WhatsApp, I informed him, I don’t have WhatsApp and we are early not late, why are you shouting at us in our lobby, this is unacceptable and needs to shout. I think the man has never had someone tell him to stop, because he just looked at me and opened the door to the car. He then drove like a mad man, almost ran over a bicyclist. I sent a message to Viator and his boss replied, he was just probably worried about being late. I replied back it’s poor customer service to shout at your customers for no good reason. As we started this very expensive private tour he was more about chatting with his friends and he would cut in front of people to the front and then wave us forward, this did not go over well with other visitors. I took some pictures and he asked me why I wasn’t taking more pictures, I replied I was taking pictures special to me, he then informed me, for this price I should take more. On our way out of the venue, my husband asked him if he did this tour every day, he commented back “ I hate Versailles, if I had to do this tour every day I would kill myself”. We then got in car and drove back, the owner had called in the car to see how I was after I had sent the second communication and wanted to basically know what I was going to put in a review. We got out of the car and yes no tip, I will say I have always tipped as it’s hard work, but this was a train wreck. Avoid with all costs!
