Tour parts of Versailles you never knew were there - Bart was an excellent tour guide . Very knowledgeable & interesting & had a great sense of humor. He made sure we all stayed together & safe and let us stop at some beautiful spots . We truly never would have known any of that existed if we hadn’t done the bike tour. My husband & I highly recommend

Not to miss - BART was an amazing tour director. He gave in depth information on the personal behind the scenes of the era. The bike riding was very easy. We road and toured around the gardens, the personal Hamlet of Marie Antoinette and the canal. At the end, he left us on her own to explore the Versailles Castle, which was probably the best thing to do. The castle is beautiful, but very overwhelming. I would definitely book this bike tour and hopefully Bart is your tour director.

The most amazing and enjoyable way to explore Versailles! - This bike tour was the best part of our trip to France! Our tour guide, Simi (sorry if I spelled her name wrong!) truly made this experience exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Versailles, making it fun, engaging and interesting. Simi expertly kept our large group together through all the roads and paths through the city and palace grounds. Visiting Marie Antoinette's Hamlet was a special part of the tour - so incredibly beautiful and picturesque - if you visit Versailles, you need to see it! I highly recommend booking this tour especially if you enjoy bike riding. It really is the most relaxing, fun and enjoyable way to explore the Palace grounds! If we had more time, I would have booked the full day tour. Thanks Simi and Fat Tire Bike Tours for these beautiful memories of Versailles.

Would Do It Again! - The tour overall was definitely 5 stars! Simi, our guide was knowledgeable and interesting and delivered the information with a touch of humor along the way. We were extremely happy we chose a bike tour as the grounds are massive and there’s so much to be seen. It helped to give us a real feel, not just of the Palace area but also of the bustling town around it. We highly recommend!

Wonderful way to... - Wonderful way to experience the best of Versailles palace, gardens and Marie Antoinette’s Hamlet. Annie was so sweet and informative and made the trip really fun. She took care of all the details and interacted with everyone like old friends. Great experience!

Amazing tour! - It was a lovely experience, I would say you must do the bicycle tour instead of the walking tour to the palace. As you get to see the hamlet and the great canal side. It's beautiful to ride the whole way and convenient. Jane was an amazing guide loved the way she shared all the stories and how interactive she was like a friend. Definitely recommend this one!

Best decision - Taking this bike tour turned out to be an excellent decision. Versailles is vast, and exploring the entire estate on foot would have been nearly impossible in a single day. The bike ride not only made it manageable but also added a sense of adventure and enjoyment to the experience. Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely kind—which made the history come alive while keeping the group engaged. This tour was the perfect balance of culture, activity, and fun, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Versailles.
