Great way to see Versailles! - Annie was so kind and fun. Really made the day go smoothly. It was a lot of fun and a great way to see a lot of Versailles. We did the e-bike upgrade which made it very easy and comfortable.

There’s no better way to see Versailles! - This was a fantastic way to see the gardens of Versailles, the King’s private apartment and enjoy a full day in Versailles. Nick & Rory were our guides and they were so much fun! Both were full of history and stories, and they made the entire experience very easy and entertaining. We got e-bikes because we weren’t sure of the terrain or how tired we’d be from traveling. We didn’t regret getting them but we would have been fine on a traditional bike because it was mostly flat and we didn’t go far between stops. This will definitely be one of the highlights of our week in Paris. We’d do it again tomorrow if we could! (We had all adults on our tour but our teen kids would have had a blast too if they’d been with us.) Lastly, the private tour at the palace was way better than a regular trip through the palace. Once our private tour was over, we could stay as long as we wanted. It was SO crowded and nearly impossible to enjoy the rooms. I’m so thankful we didn’t just do the regular tour of Versailles- I think We would have left frustrated. Instead, we had a wonderful day.

5-Stars - Highly Recommend - We had a fantastic experience on the Versailles Bike Tour with Toby. He was educational without being overwhelming, added the perfect touch of humor, and took great care of our group throughout the day. We were definitely tired by the end, but that was more from the sunshine and all the fun activities than anything else! This tour is a wonderful way to explore the Versailles grounds and learn along the way. Highly recommend!

A Highlight of our Trip! - So happy we decided on a Fat Tire Tour. This company knows what they are doing and the entire day was very well run. Directions to get to the meeting point were very exact. We met our guide Toby, who made everyone at ease with making introductions among us and going over the entire day's events. Toby was very easygoing, knowledgeable, humorous and caring. Highlight was going to the outdoor market and buying our lunch for the picnic. Not pictured on the website were the baskets on the bikes to hold goodies, but bring a backpack or market bag. A little cycling in traffic in Versailles, but mostly on the grounds of Versailles Palace. Did more walking than was expected and as warned it was a long day. But would not have missed it! In fact I will look for Fat Tire Tours from now on in my travels.

Don't miss this! - Even though it rained all day, our guides made this very memorable. You really need a bike to get around like we did to the gardens and the Triananons. We even had a picnic lunch of things we each bought in the market. Our guides gave us a lot of the history, and after returning the bikes he took us to the entrance to the Palace of Versailles, including the King's Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors. It was an all day affair, though, so be prepared. And it is rain or shine.

Exceeded our expectations! - Our bike tour of Versailles was an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to spend our last day in France for my husband and me. From the moment we met our guide, Davy, we knew we were in good hands. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the history of Versailles come alive in a way we never expected. The scenery was stunning, the pace was just right, and biking through the beautiful grounds felt like a dream. This tour exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Davy. Highly recommend!

A trip highlight with a few logistical challenges - This was great. They should just meet you at versailles because the meet up location is confusing. Great tour guide. There are no bathrooms readily available which made for a long day - not one at bile shop unless buy something at shops (this seems nuts). It was a long, great day. The trains leaving versailles at the end of the day are packed with hundreds of people. Many had trouble with the tickets they provided not working and guides are gone at that point. We had to stand in a long line and buy new tickets. They valued that time at $5 refund. Guides was great. Biking is lovely way to see property. Guide in the apartments was very good, but we were tired. I would reverse the day.

Discount coupon - I haven't made the trip yet but my surprise is when you start shopping with discount coupon of their page they come out much higher prices checked using two devices at once. They offer you a 15% discount and it comes out 10 percent or more than if you don't apply coupon is misleading advertising
