Lovely Enthusiastic Guide - Perrine gave us a wonderful experience. We lovely her passion and enthusiasm as she gave the right amount of information and was a delight to listen to (unlike some other guides we have experienced). Always smiling and giving a humorous edge of the stories. 10 out of 10.

Good tour! - This was a good tour! We wanted an option that took us through the gardens also. The half-day tour was about 3 hours - palace and gardens. The full day includes the Trianon Estate. This tour meets at Versailles - getting to and from Versailles is on your own. Knowledgeable and thoughtful tour guide; audio/earpiece included to help hear the guide. We booked the 9am tour so we were some of the very first people through the gate. Versailles is crowded; nothing a tour guide can do about that.

Versailles half day tour - Versailles half-day walking tour was amazing! This tour was mostly in the palace, but consisted of the gardens as well. We learned a ton in our kids state interest. Our kids are ages 12, 11 and eight. You can’t put a price on seeing all of this in person .

Skipping the Line Worth the Tour - Skipping the line for a ticket is worth the tour price alone, however, getting more information from the guide makes all the difference in the world.

Excellent full day tour of Versailles and surrounds. - Our guide Cecile was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. It was a long day and lots of walking but the full day tour was extremely enjoyable. There is so much more to Versailles than just the Palace.

Wonderful memories of France tour - Our guide Noemma was lovely and gave a very good, informative tour. Appreciate all her little details. Would love to have spent more time in the gardens. Versailles is quite crowded and a bit disappointed we had a later entry time due to the back log of groups due to traffic

A nice tour. - It IS a skip the line tour. It lasts for 2h30 mins. You meet at the entrance of the Versaille Chateau where there is a statue of louis XIV on a horse. It’s not the best guided tour I have had but would still recommend it. The guide does give some interesting titbits here n there. The Chateau and garden’s entry is included. For the Trianons and the Queen’s Hamlet you have to buy a separate ticket, I think €12 each. My suggestion is that you take the first tour of the day so that you have enough time to explore the gardens, the park and the Trianons. Hiring a golf cart (available for about €40 per hour) is not a bad idea as there is so much ground to cover. We didn’t hire it so we spent total 8 hours there, walked 22,000 steps and could see the main places. I am sure there is more and a golf cart can help you explore better. In summers you might like to carry an umbrella to shield yourself from the sun which can get very strong.
