Great way to explore Verona! - We did this walking tour the first day we arrived to Verona. Frank was an excellent guide and kept us engaged the whole time. He kept the tour moving, but we still walked away with some great tidbits and stories of Verona. Frank was so knowledgeable and could answer just about any question. It was so hot during our trip in August so it was such a relief to do this tour in the evening. Great tour to take at the beginning of your trip!

Best evening stroll in Verona - Lovely evening walk with Maria Pia. It's wonderful to look at Verona through the eyes of someone who loves this town. I truly enjoyed the walk and stories about past and present of this beautiful place.

Marvelous evening tour in Verona - Frank was our guide on this tour. My husband I ended up receiving a private tour as the other couple cancelled at the last minute. Frank has a degree in the history of fine art and has lived in Verona for the majority of his life so he was very knowledgeable. He asked us what we were most interested in seeing (art, architecture, the colosseum, the Capulet house) and catered the tour to our requests. He even recommended a restaurant for the next day! The best guide in Italy - This was the absolute best way to see Venice - Maira Pia was a terrific guide, absolutely one of the best - so full of energy! She has a mix of facts about all sort of things plus so many fun stories - we all felt like we really understood Verona after our tour. Plus she was great at taking photos!

Brings the city to life! - Maria was an incredible guide by bringing the story of Verona to life through stories of the Romans, Austro-Hungarians, Shakespeare, powerful families, Venetians and more. The tour was full of fascinating insights and anecdotes across disciplines such as architecture, history, geology, politics, romance and the arts. On top of the knowledge was a fantastic presentation style, charisma and humour. The added bonus of doing the tour at night provides opportunity to admire Verona's beauty at sunset and darkness.
