GetYourGuide Murano and Burano, Italy - We were on a tour with GetYour Guide and our tour guide was Enrico. he was so interesting to send to pointing out all of the historical details about Venice and the other islands and the Lagoon. The boat ride was very enjoyable from Venice to Burano and Murano. The glass making demonstration was very interesting and the showroom looks like a museum… although we couldn’t really afford any of the pieces for sale. The lace making was also interesting and the town of Burano is just beautiful. Highly recommend!

We had a great trip. We... - We had a great trip. We were met in the lobby of our hotel and took a short boat trip to a Murano glass bowing factory where we saw them blowing and shaping glass. From there we went to Burano to see the beautiful pastel colored houses and learned of its history. We walked some of the local streets/canals where we were the only people on the streets. We also saw the main area with shops, etc. From there we took a boat back to Venice.

Leo was a wonderful... - Leo was a wonderful representative for Viator. He is well informed about the region because he has grown up in Venice with several generations of his family! Our trip to Murano and Burano was awesome! He took the time to introduce us to representatives for Venerir Murano which in turn showed us around the glass factory. The demonstrations were very interesting! From there we went to Burano and watch an individual perform stitching a picture of the beautiful colorful buildings in Burano. And Leo topped it off providing us with these wonderful butter cookies made only in the island at Burano. Then we finished the day eating lunch at one of the best restaurants called La Porta d’Acqua looking at the Grand Canal backdrop! Thank you for such a lovely day!! When we return, I will have Leo show us around again!!

Great Tour of Murano and Burano - Our tour guide Nico was amazing! He took us to the quiet parts of Burano, which was enjoyable since there was less people. Watching the glassmaker craft pieces of art was incredible. Highly recommend this tour. Pace was nice, light, and relaxing. Transportation by water boat was nice as well.

Such a great tour guide and tour! - Our tour guide (Giovanni) was the perfect person to take us to Murano and Burano. He did a wonderful job sharing his knowledge throughout the tour - and showed remarkable patience while we shopped in Murano:-). Giovanni was generous with his expertise, his time, and sharing information regarding Venice (in general) and Murano and Burano (specifically). We were impressed with his professionalism and his breadth of knowledge with respect to details - both big and small (we asked a lot of questions)! Without a doubt, you should ask for Giovanni to take you on the Murano and Burano tour. We had a wonderful time and learned so much!

Canal and Murano tour, excellent! - We did the private boat tour and visited Murano (and one of the glass factories), and it was the perfect ending to our vacation across Italy. We got to see how the glass is made, which is incredible! But the best part of the tour was our guide Matteo. He was so friendly, personable, and provided great information about Venice. I would highly recommend this tour, and Matteo if you can get him, on your visit to Venice!

Beautiful & colorful Murano and Burano tour with a fantastic and knowledgeable guide - This is an awesome tour that offers an escape from the busyness of Venice. Our guide, Nico was very friendly and gave us such an amazing overview of the history and culture of Murano, Burano and Venice. Touring the Venier glass studio and watching glass artist, Luca create his works of art was fabulous! Colorful Burano was beautiful to see and Nico was a master of avoiding the large tour crowds (which we greatly appreciated). All of the water transportation was so fun to experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Perfect island experience! - Giorgio was a great guide. She knows Murano and Burano very well and took us to some cool sights. The best part was our private visit with the master glass artist. We got to sit right in his shop and watch him work. We also had a personal tour in his studio. Awesome! Thanks for the Burano cookies Giorgio!
