This tour offers a wonderful introduction to the city’s main attractions: enjoy a guided city walk to see the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square (please note: entrance to St. Mark’s Basilica is not included). Additionally, delight in a serene gondola ride and discover parts of the city often overlooked by other tours, such as the sestiere of Cannaregio and the Rialto Fish Market.
- Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
- The Rialto Fish Market is closed on Sundays.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- Large bags, trolleys and backpacks cannot be accommodated on this tour.
- During times of high tides, flooding, or heavy rain, the gondola ride may be substituted for another experience.

Venice in 2025 with Roberta - Roberta our guide was amazing, she is a Venetian with extensive knowledge of Venice. She took us to the well known tourist areas as well as to local spots which we would never have seen alone. Easy to understand and more than willing to explain more. And don’t forget the Gondola ride.

Amazing walking tour of Venice - our walk in Venice tour was amazing. The guide (Roberta, a native Venician) was very knowledgeable, very pleasant and very accommodating. The guide kept an easy and comfortable walking paste. We were taken through all the magnificent parts of Venice and were given interesting explanations. At the end we had a gondola ride.

Great walking tour of Venice - This was a great tour... The guide was very knowldegeable and engaging. We actually booked 2 tours so a total of 17 people ages 9 months to 70. The guide did go at our pace, was able to stay in shade and kept us all together. We had a great time and learned a lot! The Gondola ride was great as well - it is part of the tour so you just go on at the end... no waiting.
Some things to know
- it is a lot of walking with lots of steps - strollers not possible so if going with small kids you will need to carry or they need to walk
- There was a break for bathrooms/food etd
- You don't actually go into the church on the tour - we had gotten notice that you needed to wear long pants, cover shoulders etc but that was not needed for the tour - only if you want to go back later.

Venice Trip - Lovely friendly guide Arianna, knowledgeable too. Would definitely recommend. Showed us all the sights of Venice explaining all the history of the Venetians and how Benice came to be.

Thorough tour of Venice, recommend this tour to anyone visiting - Good tour you got to see all the main tourist places in Venice with a guide and radio so it was easy to just relax and take it all in. Finished off with a gondola ride which was a nice end to a good tour.
