Sunset is the absolute best time for Gondola ride! - Sunset is definitely the way to go when it comes to the Gondola rides! So glad we chose this option as opposed to the daytime ones. The canals are so much more calm and beautiful in the evening. Cruising down the side canals at dusk and listening to Venice settle down for the evening was so incredible. We watched the next day as Gondola's were pummeled by wake in the canals from all the boats during the day. It DID NOT look enjoyable. Go with a morning or evening option if you want a nice, calm and romantic (or even for littles as I would have been scared to take a child on the Gondolas during the day). Our guide was so nice and we enjoyed getting to know him and learning about his life as a Gondolier.

Absolutely a must - An absolutely nice and great way to see parts of Venice. Good and guided tour by good English speaking guide. We got this information with us: Venice is built on over 100 small islands in a lagoon on the Adriatic. The islands are connected by more than 400 bridges and have over 150 canals – the most famous is Canal Grande. There are no cars – transport takes place on foot or by boat (including vaporetto, a kind of water bus). Piazza San Marco – the city’s central square with: Basilica di San Marco – a magnificent cathedral with Byzantine mosaics. Marcus Clock Tower (Campanile di San Marco) – stunning views of the city. Palazzo Ducale – former seat of the rulers of Venice. The Rialto Bridge – the oldest and most famous bridge across the Canal Grande. Murano and Burano – nearby islands famous for glass art and colourful houses, respectively. Although we didn't get all the way around. We got the story with us anyway. Although it is expensive to sail around in gondola, it is still worth it! Thanks for the experience :)

Loved it - Great gondola ride. Though you can get 35 minutes for €110 euro from lots of places. So you’re really paying a premium 8pm. It’s authentic and the Gondolier tells you about things as your passing by. I decided to arrange for a proposal to my partner and the Gondolier agreed to facilitate a stop by so the Photographer could surprise us during the trip then join us for more pictures.

Excellent Gondola Experience - This private tour is far superior to the San Marco Gondola rides. Our gondolier took us through quiet residential areas and told us what we seeing. He was so welcoming and informative.

Memorable Venice - A private gondola ride makes it much more personable and got to see places we would not have seen by walking. Try to engage your guide with questions to keep him off the phone! So many canals in Venice!

Lovely time in Murano, Torcello y Burano - We began our first visit to Venice with an unforgettable trip to the islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. The boat departed right on time, and the day was smoothly organized from the start. In Murano, we enjoyed a fascinating visit to a glass factory, watching the artisans at work. After that, we explored the quiet charm of Torcello. The highlight, however, was our stop in Burano — a truly magical place with its colorful houses and vibrant atmosphere. I only wish we had more time there. Next time, I’d love to stay longer and enjoy lunch in one of its charming local restaurants.

A must🥰 - When in Venice as a couple- it has to be done… gliding along through the narrow backstreet canals, guided skilfully by our gondolier… then out onto the Grand Canal and past a once residence of Casanova- it’s was a wonderfully romantic experience🥰🥰

Just an ok gondola ride - Overall, our boat ride was ok. Our party arrived on time for the gondola ride but the boat arrived 20 minutes late. Too, our gondolie spent most of the boat ride on his cellphone with very interaction with our group.

Do NOT book this tour - This is a total and complete ripoff. Do NOT book this tour. A 30-minute gondola ride is 90 euro for anyone who walks up to any of the many many gondola service piers throughout Venice. This "tour" is almost double the price (or more if 3+ people) for nothing. We use Viator for all of our travel tours/excursions, but we have been robbed by Viator for this one.
