- Ghetto Venezia - Within the Canareggio district you’ll find the charming Jewish Ghetto. Even though facing restrictions, the Jewish residents of the Venetian Ghetto built a lively community that excelled in intellect, economy, and art. Our food tour will take you through this area, offering a chance to see a more genuine and less touristy side of Venice.
- Cannaregio - When exploring Venice, remember two key words—cicchetti and Bacari. Cicchetti are tasty bite-sized snacks, and Bacari are charming wine bars where you’ll find these delights. During our first stop, let our guide lead you into a local Bacari where you’ll be introduced to some of these tasty bites, and get introduced to the history and taste of a true Venetian Select Spritz.

- Cannaregio - No Italian food tour is complete without real Italian gelato! Your guide will take you to a top gelato shop to uncover the secrets of authentic gelato. New friends even for this introvert - Our tour guide was welcoming and easy to talk to. She expertly connected guests to one another; even though we started out as strangers, we all found connections of friends in common. Conversation was giddy over food and drinks we might not have tried otherwise. What a wonderful evening learning more about Venetian culture and cuisine with new friends.

Great tour! - Irena was amazing and this was a great tour. There were 10 of us and it was the perfect size. She explained the menu items, the culture behind Cicchetti, as well as other interesting facts about Venizia in general.

Really fun tour with awesome guide, great food, wine, and spritz - Irene was a great wealth of knowledge regarding Venetian food and Venice itself. We had a great evening with her and it was fun to visit some smaller local establishments!

Eat like a Venetian - Our host Alissia was friendly and knowledgeable. She immediately put the group of 8 at ease with her welcoming demeanour. The wide selection of food and drink, was flavoursome and well presented. An excellent experience for one and all.

Yum! - Fun to try cicchetti (small bites), spritz, and wine at two small local bars. Sit-down dinner afterward was a choice of pasta dish, and tasty gelato to finish.

We missed it due to the train - We missed this tour due to a delayed train, totally out of our control and they were unable to rebook us or refund us.

Book if you don’t mind double dipping - My husband and I always book a food tour when we arrive in a new city. This was hands down the worst tour we have ever booked. The guide was more interested in drinking with us and getting to dinner with his friends after the tour than he was telling us about the food we were eating/history of the food. However, that was not even the worst of it. It was a max size group, and they would bring out the food on 2 plates for 8 people. There were not enough small samples for all involved unless one of the guests preemptively cut all the portions for everyone, to try as the guide let it be a free for all. For example-one of the samples was 3 stuffed olives for 8 people.
