Not to be missed! - This was such a fun evening and a great way to find out more about Venice. Anna was a brilliant guide and took us to lovely locations that we would not have found on our own. I am gluten intolerant but Anna made sure I did not miss out at any of the locations. Completely recommend this tour!

A good way to explore the city and have an early dinner - We had the “luck” of being in Venice for the Bezos chaos but also a ridiculously hot week in Italy in general. I love to book food tours whether I have a long stay in a town ahead of me and want to get good idea of places to go and things to eat or even if I’m just somewhere for a day, because it takes care of a meal and makes me feel like I’ve seen a lot. For this one, it was nice to have a tour booked that forced us out of the AC and into town. We had a group of about 10 Americans and everyone was quite nice. I’ve been lucky enough to have a lot of unintentionally private food tours lately, so I forgot that when the group is a little bigger, it can be more challenging for the guide to get around to everyone or to hear everything they are saying. Still, Alessia M did a lovely job. We started with some cicchetti (who knew codfish and strawberries paired so well?) at a few different places – it was nice that for the first one, we were able to sit down, albeit outside. The penultimate stop was a new location for the tour I believe and we actually had a choice of pastas – all looked delicious. I really enjoyed the one with anchovies that I had. I will say that this is definitely more of a food tour than a food AND culture/history/city tour, which is fine although I usually prefer the latter. If you’re looking for a nice walk around Venice and a filling, early dinner, then this is a great option.

Venice sunset food tour - Venice at Sunset: Cicchetti, Food & Wine Tour – A Personal Highlight Our Venice at Sunset tour with Devour was one of the highlights of our trip. From the very first stop, we knew we were in good hands with our guide, Alessia she was friendly, knowledgeable. We wandered through quiet backstreets, sampling delicious cicchetti, fresh pasta, perfectly paired with local wines. But what really stood out was how Alessia tied everything together with stories about the food, the culture, and Venice itself. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a friend who knows all the best local spots.

Perfect evening tour of Venice! - We had a fabulous tour with Alessia S! We did the sunset walking food tour. We had a lovely Select Spritz and Venetian cicchetti at an osteria, wine and cured meats in a beautiful square, wine and fried cicchetti at another osteria, pasta at a nice restaurant, and such a fun gelato treat to round it off. Alessia was so lovely and knowledgeable about the local food and wines. She took us through beautiful areas of Venice and ended in the perfect spot for the sunset. We appreciated the small group experience and were impressed with the generous portions at each stop, and how efficiently everything was timed. Highly recommend this tour with Alessia!
