- Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - Piazza Venezia is a central junction in Rome, where several major roads intersect, including the Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Via del Corso. It is named after the Palazzo Venezia, built by the Venetian Cardinal, Pietro Barbo (later Pope Paul II), next to the church of Saint Mark, the patron saint of Venice. The Palazzo Venezia once served as the embassy of the Republic of Venice in Rome.
- Via dei Fori Imperiali - The Via dei Fori Imperiali is a road in the heart of Rome, running directly from the Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. It passes over parts of the Forum of Trajan, Forum of Augustus, and Forum of Nerva, with sections visible on both sides of the road. Since the 1990s, extensive archaeological excavations have been conducted on both sides, as significant Imperial Roman artifacts remain buried beneath it.
- Trevi Fountain - The Trevi Fountain is an 18th-century fountain in the Trevi district of Rome, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini in 1762, along with several others. Standing 26.3 meters (86 ft) high and 49.15 meters (161.3 ft) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most renowned fountains worldwide.
- Piazza di Spagna - Piazza di Spagna (“Spanish Square”), located at the base of the Spanish Steps, is one of Rome’s most famous squares. It is named after the Palazzo di Spagna, the seat of the Embassy of Spain to the Holy See. The square also features the renowned Column of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- Via del Corso - The Via del Corso is a main thoroughfare in the historic center of Rome. It is straight in an area otherwise known for its narrow winding alleys and small piazzas. Enjoy shopping at the numerous stores on Via del Corso and the surrounding streets!
- Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant’Angelo - The Mausoleum of Hadrian, also known as Castel Sant’Angelo, is a towering rotunda in Parco Adriano. It was originally commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family. Later, the popes used the building as a fortress and castle, and it is now a museum. The structure was once the tallest building in Rome.
- St. Peter’s Square - Saint Peter’s Square is a large plaza situated directly in front of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, the papal enclave in Rome, directly west of the neighborhood (rione) of Borgo. Both the square and the basilica are named after Saint Peter, an apostle of Jesus whom Catholics regard as the first Pope.

In Venezia Santa Lucia train station, board the train to Roma Termini station, where our local tour guide will pick you up and take you to the first stop of the tour. On this introductory walking tour, discover attractions such as the the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, St Peter’s square and the shopping streets of Rome. Your guide will shed light on the city’s famous landmarks and give you some tips about where to shop or eat. At the end of the tour, you can take the train back to Venice from Termini Station.
