Great winery tour - Our guide was grest. We reslly enjoyed the two wineries but the Adami’s one was our favorite. Sylvia was so passionate about her family business. She described so well how Prosecco was done

Breath taking! - Piera, our driver, was amazing. She took the time to inform us of the history of the Prosecco country, explain some of the customs of the cities, show us vineyards, and take us to the Abby. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions. (She even helped get a jacket back to us we had left in her van)! The vineyard where the great granddaughter of the man who helped invent the current version of Prosecco was so impressive. We all learned so much from her. That Prosecco was delicious. Our group like it so much, we all bought extra bottles. This tour was great from the start to the end! We recommend it to everyone - even if you don't think you like Prosecco, because you will by the time you are finished with this tour!

Prosecco region tour & tasting. - Gorgeous scenery & a great opportunity to explore the wine region & learn about the history of the area as well as what goes in to making Prosecco. The vineyards were breathtaking, the vintners were very knowledgeable & welcoming. Our driver was wonderful, showed us some out of the way areas of the area.

Prosecco Tour was Great! - Our tour guide was very good. We had a few glitches. First, the meeting place was crazy busy, but she found us. The transportation was comfortable. The Prosecco stop was the best of the two. Second Prosecco tour was more commercial and much more expensive. We saw some beautiful sites. The biggest issue we had was that we purchased our trip over a month ago and apparently they changed the web site. Our tour included Prosecco tasting, they charged us at one location and the second location we did not because we said no.

Prosecco: much more there than I ever knew - We took this tour on a rainy day. The tour started about a half an hour late due to our guide being caught in traffic. We were able to call the company and get updates until she arrived. But we quickly got going and she filled us in on the history of the region we were going to. We were in a nice large van, and it was comfortable. At the first winery, Adami, we took a tour and learned how prosecco is produced in several styles. Our guide there was a family member and knew the business inside and out. She was magnificent. We tasted seven wines there and bought several. I'm not quite sure yet how I'm going to get them all home lol We left late and had a lunch at a nice cafe in Valdobbiadene. The menu was tried and true and the food might have been a little tired as we were at the back end of their service time. But it was what we needed and it was okay. The second winery was Carneval and we had a short talk from their winery person and tasted a few wines and bought a small number. We got back a little bit late, mostly because we asked the winery people too many questions and we received wonderfuly enthusiastic answers. But what else is there to do on a rainy day? It was a good day and I think everyone on the tour enjoyed it. We thank our driver for putting up with us cheerfully and patiently for the most part. The only surprise in the tour was the cost of the wine tastings, which were required additional expenses. At both wineries the cost was about double what the tour company had told us. I was surprised we had to pay a tasting fee at all as I live in a wine region in California and they would never be charging special groups like that. These fees should be folded into the cost of the tour.

Watch out for hidden costs. - The tour was great and our tour operator was great. But, you need to watch out as I had to pay for our tastings at both wineries even though my tour included the tastings. Neither wineries were aware and my tour operator was unaware. I tried to get a refund for my additional $106 but they said they could not offer the refund. This tour just got a lot more expensive.

Last Minute Cancellation - I paid for the tour weeks ahead of time. The tour was cancelled two days prior. The reason specified was the fact there was no one else signed up. This is hard to believe considering how popular this tour is, but even if that is the case, the operator should proceed with the tour. It's the nature of doing business. Last minute cancellation really put me in a tough spot. There are no available tours on Trip Advisor for this tour.
