The best tour! - This was the best experience that we had in Venice! Everyone from our tour guide to the glass masters were amazing at what they do. If you plan to go to Murano island, book this experience and you will have your expectations exceeded.

Amazing tour - If I could rate this review with infinite stars, I would. Everything started pretty stressful as my guide didn’t show up and I had to contact Viator who could not get a hold of the local tour folks. Hours later, I got finally heard from them and was asked if I wanted to reschedule which I did since they explain why they didn’t show up and as a human being I do understand that things do happen sometimes. I must say that I was more than please with the entire tour. My guide Gianluca is the OG! He is the best of the best. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I would especially request for him if I do come back to Venice. The glass blowing session was outstanding and I can watch it over and over again. They have amazing pieces of art in the gallery and exquisite jewelry. I would definitely do this tour on my next trip. I had such a great experience that I cannot find the exact words to describe it. And once again thank you Gianluca for being the best tour guide!

Our guide was awesome! - Our guide Giovanni was wonderful! Super communicative, very knowledge and professional. The tour of the factory was great too - super interesting!

Glass demonstration - Gianluca was an excellent tour guide. The blown glass demonstration was very informative and fun! He went above and beyond with restaurant recommendations and even showing us around the city after the tour was done.

Great Private Tour of Murano - Did the Murano private tour experience and it was great. Our tour guide was Ms. Eleonora and she was perfect. She met us at our hotel and escorted us to our private boat that took us to Murano. She was very knowledgeable about the Basiica in Murano and the history of glass making in Venice/Murano. We loved her. We avoided any crowds and really felt that we had a private and exclusive experience.

A must tour!! - The guide was personable and informative. The glass demonstration was fantastic! We have use Viator multiple times on our trip and have had one disappointing tour, which they took care of, the rest have been great!!

Murano glass tour - Our guide Desiree she’s very attentive and informative. We have ample time to explore Murano. Overall this tour is good and enjoyable.

Great tour, high pressure sales - Boat ride and tour guide was amazing. Glass blowing was very informative. After glass blowing demonstration the “tour guide” from glass blowing company was salesperson. Felt very pressured to buy something. That feeling ruined a great tour. Viator should not support tour that is more about purchasing glass than touring Murano

Great tour but need a private taxi back - The private taxi to the glass factory was very easy and watching the glass masters was very fascinating! The walk through the gallery was very nice but the person showing you the pieces was pushing us to buy thousand dollar pieces and very frustrated with us when we did not buy it. In addition, we had to take the public water bus that stopped at multiple locations to get back to our hotel but we wished that a private taxi would take us back to our hotel even if that meant we had to pay more for the tour. The tour guide we had Roberto was extremely patient, kind, and accommodating to my family and did a wonderful job helping us navigate our way through the streets of Venice and Murano.

Choose a different tour….. - This really was a sales tour for the company. “guide” was nice but there really wasn’t any discussion or tour unless we specifically asked questions (She did make sure we knew how to get home). Then transitioned to a factory host. Glass making was two quick pieces and not a lot of discussion of Murano history, process, etc. Spent more time in sales room. Just be careful if buying a piece (we checked on a piece we were looking to buy but walked when we learned it wasn’t made at the factory - yes by the artist but at offsite locations ). Truly disappointed. In the end we could have taken a water taxi and tried to walk into a factory. Or chosen another factory.
