Must do while in Venice! - We recently had the chance to take a guided excursion to a Murano glass factory while visiting Venice, and it was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable.
Our guide Federico was absolutely amazing – kind, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Venice
Watching the master glassblower at work was like witnessing magic. The craftsmanship, skill, and artistry that go into each piece were astonishing. We were able to see a live demonstration while an associate described the process.
The showroom was equally impressive – filled with stunning works of art, from delicate figurines to grand chandeliers. It was impossible to leave without picking up at least a small keepsake to remember the experience. We did not feel pressured to make a purchase.
If you're visiting Venice, I can't recommend this excursion enough. It's more than just a tour – it's a cultural immersion and a deeper appreciation of a centuries-old craft that’s still thriving today.

This is a must if you are... - This is a must if you are in Venice. The experience of seeing them create a piece is very cool. Our tour guide, Gian Luca was very knowledgeable about Venice and was a pleasure! Thank you!

Federico is lovely!! - A magical experience with a charming and knowledgeable guide. Federico met us at our hotel on a rainy morning, and we had a private water taxi over to murano. He gave us lots of fascinating info on the way over, and more while we walked the town. We stopped for a local favorite, pulpolpo (I may have the spelling wrong) a meatball that defies description except that it was delish. He then took us to a glass work shop, where we watched a master artist create a vase in a style of glass blowing he created. It was magnificent. At the tail end of the “demo”, which isn’t really a demo as it’s not a factory, the artist whipped up a glass horse sculpture in about 5 minutes, but in a totally different technique. Federico then returned us to Venice, and took us to a locals spot for lunch (we know it’s local because 4 gondoliers were having their lunch here!) he left us with suggestions on where to spend the rest of our day.

We absolutely loved this... - We absolutely loved this tour. Our travel guide, Giovanni, was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He picked us up right from our hotel and drove us straight to Murano. Our guide at the glass factory was Enrica, she was kind and enthusiastic about the tour. The master glass maker was phenomenal to watch, We learned so much and we were able to buy some pieces that they will insure and ship safely to our home back in the US. Afterwards, Giovanni walked us through the town and brought us to the local church and had a water taxi ready to bring us back to our hotel. We highly recommend this tour to others.
