Very good tour of the two islands - This is a good, easy tour of the two islands. I read many other bad reviews and was almost dissuaded but very glad we did it. The audio is not great, but it is exactly what we expected. A boat ride to the two islands with a demo of the glass blowing in murano. The timing was fine, it was very efficient. Well worth the money and I recommend this tour. It rained most of the day but we still enjoyed everything.

A Magical, Beautiful Island to Visit - Our Venice Lagoon Cruise to Burano (Murano wasn’t included in this tour) was organised through our Cosmos tour, the cost was approximately 30€ per person for a half-day ride. We cruised across the Venetian Lagoon to an island called Burano, just a 50-minute ride. Burano is a quaint little island, so pretty, colourful homes and shops, very neat and tidy, loved the stroll around this town. Burano is definitely charming and worth a visit, it is famous for their historic trade of lace work and culinary traditions. We had the opportunity to watch their lace making skills and listen to the lace making history, dated back many centuries. I loved what they had to share and offer, that I bought myself a handmade lace fan. There are many shops that look so inviting and delicious, but once I had seen the window display at Panificio Pasticceria Garbo, I couldn’t resist but go inside. Yes, I bought myself a bag of mixed biscuits and they were so delicious, you can’t buy these biscuits elsewhere, highly recommend. Then we just lazed on their park benches and enjoyed the serenity of this town – so peaceful and not overcrowded like Venice. I wasn’t too fussed that we didn’t visit Murano, as we did see the glassmaking earlier in our tour, in Florence, hence why Murano wasn’t included in our cruise. If you do have time to spare in Venice, highly recommend a visit to Burano, such a magical place to see, like entering into a different world.

Great experience - Loved Murano and Burano. Would have liked a little more time on Murano Island. Had to change boats due to engine failure. Had to wait for law enforcement to allow us to take new boat. Overall loved the tour

Great - Great trip to see Murano and burano if you don't have a lot of time to spend in Venice. Loved this half day excursion

Excellent - Today I went around the three islands for six hours. First of all I would like to say that they were kind as I had booked for June but I had to postpone and they kept my ticket valid. I liked the tour even if three hours in Murano I find them excessive. Maybe I would make more time in Burano where at least there are more restaurants and bars. The rest everything perfect.

Beautiful just be wise to “tour tickets” - It was beautiful and clean. There’s no cars, buses or bicycles so all travel is by boat or foot. You can walk across the island in 45 mins in most cases. Be careful of the tour ticket companies. We had good and bad experiences. One company called “Headout” sold us tickets for a tour leaving from near the train station. Ad says train station, ticket says train station. Night before, we check exactly where by the station and it says it’s on the other side of Venice! Headout’s response was “ nothing we can do, it’s less than the 24 hr cancellation policy. Called twice, twice told someone would call back, twice no call. Stay away from this company, there’s plenty of others.

Too short of a trip - The Murano, glass demonstration was great but we only had like 20 minutes to explore the island afterwards. Burano was more scenic and once again we had less than hour to explore or eat. This tour is 4 hours but needs to be 5 hours to really enjoy and see the sights in both islands.

Great Tour, Disappointing Conclusion - Loved that this was an affordable way to explore more to the islands then just venice. I thought the meeting location was pretty easy to find as well as the guides being very clear and informative throughout our journey. The glass blowing experience was a great bonus to be able to see. For me personally, I probably didn't need as much time as we had in Burano considering there was no 'viewing activity' like there was in Murano. Unfortunatley, i was quite disappointed with the way the tour concluded. We were told at the beginning of the tour that the tour would conclude back at our meeting spot at 2pm. What actually ended up happening was the tour finishing off at a completely different meeting point at 2pm, myself and others who needed to get back to our initial meeting point having to wait half an hour (in the direct scorching sun) for a different boat, to finally arriving back at the meeting point at 3pm, an hour late!!! I had other reservations that i was luckily able to reschedule as i was not anticipating the late return. Had this been communicated from the start of the tour I would have been able to make better arrangements.

Average - This is a very basic, touristy excursion. Not that it was bad, but just know you will spend most of your time on a boat traveling to the islands. You only have about 20 minutes to walk around in Murano after the glass demonstration and a little over an hour in Burano. So if you are wanting more time at the islands it might be better to book a public transport. Overall, not bad if you are looking for a quick excursion.

Very expensive ferry... - Very expensive ferry ride. Very unhelpful staff, did not seem very interested in doing the tour. Poorly signposted, the Tour Guide did not have a flag so people knew where they had to be. Just dropped everyone off on the islands to look after themselves. We could have caught a ferry ourselves to the islands for less money. Would definitely not recommend this tour to any family of friends travelling to Venice.
