Must do tour!! - This was a fantastic tour! The glass blowing demonstration on Murano was amazing! Both boys got the chance to try glass blowing. We visited one of the oldest family owned factories and had a personal tour. It was just our family and our wonderful guide Marta. We were able to take as much time in the factory as we wanted. Next we traveled to Burano, the lace making island. It was impressive to see lace made by a master. We enjoyed touring the island and the colorful painted houses while eating our gelato. Our tour guide, Marta was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. It was nice to be in our own water taxi. I highly recommend this tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

A perfect experience! - Best experience yet on our trip to Italy! Leo our guide was absolutely amazing and so full of knowledge. The glass blowers and manager Daniele were amazing and the lace boutique La Perla was fabulous. So easy being picked up at the hotel and heading straight to each destination. Leo never rushed us as we purchased from each island and took our time with the manger and owners of the shops after the tours. Must do!

A Nice Escape from Venice - Wonderful private tour that couldn’t have been easier. Our guide met us and escorted us to our private water taxi. We toured a Murano glass factory first and received a tour from the manager. My family was able to try blowing glass, which was a nice touch. Next to Burano which was very nice. The small village is beautifully painted and we were able to see a demonstration of lace making. A little shopping and walk around to hear local history completed the trip. Then back to Venice. Overall a nice experience and a welcome escape from touristy Venice.

Great little private tour of these two lovely islands! - This little private tour provided great exposure to these two lovely islands in the Venetian Lagoon. The tour of Murano was highlighted by the glass-blowing demonstration. My wife and I had seen glass-blowing demos before but we weren't prepared for the level of skill and craftsmanship we witnessed. Watching a master of 30 years working with two apprentices, we saw the evolution of an initial idea into a finished product...the only thing we could do was applaud! Be advised that there is some sales expectation here as they do bring you into the showroom where everything is for sale. My wife and I knew this from the start because we did some research and we knew what and how much we wanted to spend. They do ship around the world, as well! Our warm and pleasant guide then took us to Burano where he was born to show us his island! A lovely island it was with colorful homes and amazing people. We toured the lace shop and again, there is a little pressure to purchase finely crafted products, but we had also planned for this. A wonderful day on the water and walking around town. Highly recommended!

Top notch guides and tour. None better! - Luca was prompt, friendly and truly knowledgeable about not only Burano and Murano and the artisans there but could speak to all of Venetian and Italian history as well. This made the tour even more enjoyable. He is ne of the best tour guides i have ever had the pleasure to meet and should be commended for his manner and enthusiasm. He didn't rush us and arranged for a delicious meal even though we got off schedule by a bit because we enjoyed the demonstration of glass bowing on Murano so much. Here Francesca should be recognized as well, an artisan in her own right, she was able to explain the history, process and different specialties of the Masters at Fornace Venier in a way that made us feel involved and accepted as guests and not just another tour. I can't recommend this tour and these guides highly enough!

Best tour ! - We had the best tour !!! We traveled for 3 weeks and had lots of tour guides but Luca was amazing and by far our favorite tour. He was so interesting and passionate about Venice. We throughly enjoyed touring the Murano glass factory and learning about how they blow the glass. We got to see it in person. Then we visited the island of darling colorful island of Burano where the lace is made. We went to a store where the woman make lace. Had a fabulous lunch that Luca made a reservation for. He got us some cookies from an original bakery there. It was a perfect way to end our last day of our vacation.
