Too little time - Good tour. Good guide. If you're looking to spend more than 1 hours on each island, this is not the tour for you....the vaporetto would be a better choice. If you only have 1 afternoon to see the islands, it's a good way to go.

Ended tour without an explanation - This tour was itself was just OK. If you're looking to spend more than 1 hour on each of the islands, this is not the tour for you. Perhaps the vaporetto would be a better choice. If you only have 1/2 day to see these islands, this tour may be the way to go. My biggest complaint was that the 6 of us traveling chose this tour because it picked us up and dropped us off near the train station. Our hotel was located near the train station, and after a long day in the heat, we wanted to freshen-up before dinner. We were surprised to find out (about 3/4 of the way though the tour) that the tour would be ending at the St Mark's dock (San Zaccaria dock D). This was very inconvenient for us. We were given a choice to either walk back (about 40 min) or purchase a vaporetto ticket to get back. We asked why there was no return to the starting point and were given no explanation. We decided to purchase the vaporetto ticket for the return. Be cautious of the Consorzio Vidali Group tours....I find it unconscionable that a tour company would spring this on a group of tourists without an explanation.

Use the city bus (boat) - Honestly felt it would have been a better trip on the publuc bus / boat system. The guide commentary had zero value. First, way too hard to understand. Second, simply reading off a sheet as fast as humanly pissible to get through four languages instead of it being actual knowledge and lixal insighrs. Third, the volumne was intollerable and harmful. I sat with fingers in my ears... being literally tortured. I could easily give it 1 star... For starting late... tourists were wandering the designated meeting point where the was no one to be found until 15 min late, causing panic that we were in the wrong place. And there was too much time on Murono taken from the time on Burano for some logistical reason that was not explained. Our time was further cut short when communication was so bad that we went back to the boat 30 min too soon. Honestly, get a white board and hold it up as people disembark with the return time clearly printed. Don't buy from the glass shop the tour takes you to. It was literally by far the most expensive shop we saw... though I did enjoy the demonstation. The one single thing worth looking at on Torchello was closed... after a long walk to get there. I honestly don't think groups should be brought here at all when it's closed. They did, technically, do what they promised ... a guided day trip of Murano, Burano and Torchello so they get 2 stars... but again an unguided city bus (boat) would have been better imo.

Don’t bother booking - I wouldn’t call this a tour… a boat took us to three stops: Murano (2 hours to explore incl. glass demonstration), Burano (1 hour to explore), and Torcello (45 minutes to explore), but no tour or information was ever provided. Our guide simply told us when to be back on the boat, never anything about the islands or what to see when we arrived. Additionally, we arrived in Torcello after 5pm meaning everything (including the bathrooms) had closed for the day so we basically walked along the main canal for a bit and then waited to get back on the boat - a bit of a waste of time.

Lack of planning, too rushed - Way too much time in Murano, Torcello was a disappointment and 1hr there is a waste of time. Burano was beautiful but only 45 mins were given. Most of the shops and the lace demonstration were either closed or were closing. The tour guide spoke too fast and rapidly switched languages. It was supposed to be for 6 hours but poor planning made it even more than 7. We paid extra to be dropped off at the station but at the last minute, they refused to drop us there and we had to walk all the way from San Marco on our own!

Tour needs improvement - The tour guide was very informative. We were to meet the guide at 11:45 infront of the KFC in Venice. The guide was over half an hour late getting to our tour due to a previous walking tour that took longer than antisipated. There was nobody on site with any signs. The boat was there waiting for the guide to show up. Once we left, the visit to the islands was nice. We were suppose to end our tour where we were picked up but due to the size of the boat were we dropped off somewhere else that required us to walk over 20 minutes to the train station. We missed our 7:00 p.m. train because we were still on the tour. We missed our train at 8:00 p.m. because we were not dropped off where we were suppose to. The lateness and the different return spot was a huge inconvience and created a negative experience.

DISAPPOINTING, WE WERE LEFT LYING ON THE GROUND AND UNSOLVED - DISAPPOINTING. WE WERE GROUNDED. THEY LEFT A DIFFERENT JETTY THAN THEY HAD THE SIGN WHEN WE GET IN TOUCH WITH AN EMPLOYEE, IT GIVES US NO SOLUTION AND IN BAD WAYS. AFTER MAKING MANY ARRANGEMENTS ON OUR OWN WE JOINED THE GROUP 2 HOURS LATER THROUGH PUBLIC BOAT TRIP AND PAYING US THE TICKET. I CLAIM FROM THE COMPANY THE AMOUNT WE HAVE PAID FOR PUBLIC TRAVEL AND THEY DENY ME SUCH CLAIM. WE WERE ABLE TO JOIN THE GROUP BUT THERE WERE A COUPLE WHO LOST THE TOUR THAT DAY.
