Too little time - Good tour. Good guide. If you're looking to spend more than 1 hours on each island, this is not the tour for you....the vaporetto would be a better choice. If you only have 1 afternoon to see the islands, it's a good way to go.

Honest review - I think the tour went well and was as stated, but if I could choose I wouldn't do it again. They took us to Murano for 3 hours. This island was boring in my opinion. ALL the shops sell only glass items, so if you're not into browsing glass and buying something your stuck for 3 hours. There were no places to sit and only a couple restaurants. No cafe to sit at, no gelato that I could find. The island of Burano was much more interesting but you only got 45 minutes there. They had tons of various shops and photo ops but there was not enough time to see much of it. Torcello was pretty but could easily be skipped. In the end, if you want to see these islands you could just take the water bus and it would be cheaper and you would have the exact amount of time on each island you wanted.

Ended tour without an explanation - This tour was itself was just OK. If you're looking to spend more than 1 hour on each of the islands, this is not the tour for you. Perhaps the vaporetto would be a better choice. If you only have 1/2 day to see these islands, this tour may be the way to go. My biggest complaint was that the 6 of us traveling chose this tour because it picked us up and dropped us off near the train station. Our hotel was located near the train station, and after a long day in the heat, we wanted to freshen-up before dinner. We were surprised to find out (about 3/4 of the way though the tour) that the tour would be ending at the St Mark's dock (San Zaccaria dock D). This was very inconvenient for us. We were given a choice to either walk back (about 40 min) or purchase a vaporetto ticket to get back. We asked why there was no return to the starting point and were given no explanation. We decided to purchase the vaporetto ticket for the return. Be cautious of the Consorzio Vidali Group tours....I find it unconscionable that a tour company would spring this on a group of tourists without an explanation.

Lack of planning, too rushed - Way too much time in Murano, Torcello was a disappointment and 1hr there is a waste of time. Burano was beautiful but only 45 mins were given. Most of the shops and the lace demonstration were either closed or were closing. The tour guide spoke too fast and rapidly switched languages. It was supposed to be for 6 hours but poor planning made it even more than 7. We paid extra to be dropped off at the station but at the last minute, they refused to drop us there and we had to walk all the way from San Marco on our own!

Tour needs improvement - The tour guide was very informative. We were to meet the guide at 11:45 infront of the KFC in Venice. The guide was over half an hour late getting to our tour due to a previous walking tour that took longer than antisipated. There was nobody on site with any signs. The boat was there waiting for the guide to show up. Once we left, the visit to the islands was nice. We were suppose to end our tour where we were picked up but due to the size of the boat were we dropped off somewhere else that required us to walk over 20 minutes to the train station. We missed our 7:00 p.m. train because we were still on the tour. We missed our train at 8:00 p.m. because we were not dropped off where we were suppose to. The lateness and the different return spot was a huge inconvience and created a negative experience.

Make sure what boat you choose. - Our guide spoke too quickly without a pause between languages, this made the commentary hard to understand. The boat we had has seen better days. We even had to fix our seat. The pilot did not seem too care for it either. We had too much time on Munaro, not enough time in Burano, and a rushed third stop. A very poor experience overall.

So good as it cost - cheap. - The trip was so cheap (Water Bus from Marco Polo Airport to Venice cost 15 Euro), therefore you can't expect the service to be good. I recommend to be spend little more for better conditions.

DISAPPOINTING, WE WERE LEFT LYING ON THE GROUND AND UNSOLVED - DISAPPOINTING. WE WERE GROUNDED. THEY LEFT A DIFFERENT JETTY THAN THEY HAD THE SIGN WHEN WE GET IN TOUCH WITH AN EMPLOYEE, IT GIVES US NO SOLUTION AND IN BAD WAYS. AFTER MAKING MANY ARRANGEMENTS ON OUR OWN WE JOINED THE GROUP 2 HOURS LATER THROUGH PUBLIC BOAT TRIP AND PAYING US THE TICKET. I CLAIM FROM THE COMPANY THE AMOUNT WE HAVE PAID FOR PUBLIC TRAVEL AND THEY DENY ME SUCH CLAIM. WE WERE ABLE TO JOIN THE GROUP BUT THERE WERE A COUPLE WHO LOST THE TOUR THAT DAY.
