Highly recommend this tour - Manjeet showed us Varanasi in August 2025. We arrived after heavy rains and the Ghats were under water. Our hotel told us the daily Aarti ceremony was suspended - but Manjeet got us front row VIP tickets for a rooftop Aarti where we participated and received blessing - magical and at an amazing price! He also took us to the funeral ghats and led us through Varanasi at our own pace - adapting the tour to suit us with no shopping that we didn’t want to do. He is a local and really knowledgeable, very reasonably priced (1/4 price of similar tour from our hotel) and a really nice interesting guy. Highly recommended.

Amazing walking tour of Varanasi at super-reasonable price! - Manjeet showed us Varanasi in August 2025. We arrived after heavy rains and the Ghats were under water. An amazing 2 days itinerary - I'm so glad I chose Maanjit as a guide for our 2 days in Varanasi! Our visit wouldn't have been the same without him. He went out of his way to make sure we were all happy and explained exactly what we were going to see as we went along. He was flexible with times and stops, including food. He took us to try out some samosas and Lassi as well as a very unique local restaurant on the second day. We went down different alleys and he explained the history and culture of Varanasi and India in general. We also visited some very interesting temples and got great seats for the Ganga Aarti. He is a very friendly and sweet guy and speaks excellent English, and on top of everything he took some great photos of us all and put together some great videos! He doesn't make pre-packed standard itineraries, but really understands hie guests and customised the tour according to their needs. Thanks so so much Manjeet!

Not just a tour but an experience of the city - highly recommended - Great tour around Varanasi! Manjeet was easy to communicate with to set up the tour and flexible with timing. He met us at our accommodation and showed us so many interesting places, describing the history, culture and traditions of Varanasi and the people that have lived here over the ages as we went. He was flexible and was happy to modify the tour according to our interests - adding in some stops for some chai and great bites to eat. He was a really nice guy and obviously knows the city so well, it was fantastic to be shown around by him.

Excellent tour… Knowledgeable and flexible guide - Manjeet was a great guide. Communication at the start to set up the tour was good and he was flexible and tailored the tour to suit our interests as we made our way around the city. He was very knowledgeable about the city, its inhabitants and gave us so much interesting information about the history, traditions and culture. Manjeets’s tour was an excellent way to really immerse yourself in the Varanasi vibe. Highly recommended.

An unforgettable journey - In February-March 2025, I went on a pilgrimage tour on the Varanasi-Rishikesh-Vrindavan route with a group and our Indian guide was Manjeet (@manjeet_sahani). This was my first trip to India. We traveled for Mahashivaratri, caught the last days of Kumbha Mela and Holi.
Manjeet created the safest and most comfortable atmosphere for all participants, regardless of their level of training and immersion in the culture of India. He was always on the lookout, monitoring everyone's well-being and emotional state.
He addressed every possible issue, keeping in mind the needs of the participants while hiking or traveling by car. Manjeet showed up with water and fruit, magically helped to bypass crowds and giant lines, and resolved issues with locals. His help with shopping was invaluable - sometimes finding things that were nowhere to be found and always recommending safe places to eat.
For me, Manjeet has become a true ambassador of Annapurna. He is an energetic, kind and positive person who genuinely cares for those who put their trust in him during the trip.

Dinner at Brijrama Palace - We had the pleasure of meeting Manjeet on the last day of our trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending. He organized a fantastic dinner at Brijrama Palace, which turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings of our journey—an experience I’ll truly cherish. Manjeet is exceptionally professional, polite, and thoughtful. I would highly recommend his services to anyone visiting the area.

Trust Manjeet for Varanasi - I recently joined the "Explore Varanasi's Heritage" tour, and as a solo traveler, I was incredibly impressed. The tour was well-organized, covering key cultural spots like the iconic Ghats and temples, while the guide’s knowledge and passion brought the city’s history to life.
What stood out most was how welcoming and inclusive the experience felt, even as a solo traveler. The evening Ganga Aarti was absolutely magical—a must-see for anyone visiting Varanasi. The group dynamic was great, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout.

Manjeet is a professional and knowledgable guide - We highly recommend the walking tour of Varanasi with Manjeet. He is a local and obviously has a lot of lived experience as well as knowledge of the history and culture there. We had a limited time, but Manjeet showed us the major sites along the river and also took us through some backstreets which were quite interesting. He also treated us to samosas and sweets at the end, which was a nice experience in itself!!! We highly recommend this tour to those who want an authentic Varanasi experience.
