The Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an ancient Buddhist temple in Bodh Gaya, extensively rebuilt and restored. It marks the spot where Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment. The site features a descendant of the Bodhi Tree under which Buddha meditated and has been a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists for over two thousand years. Some elements date back to the period of Ashoka (died c. 232 BCE), but most of what is visible today dates from the 7th century CE or earlier, with significant restorations since the 19th century. The structure may incorporate parts of earlier work, possibly from the 2nd or 3rd century CE.
Bodhi Tree - This tree is considered a descendant of the one under which Prince Siddhartha meditated and became known as Lord Buddha after attaining enlightenment.
Sujata Kuti - Sujata Stupa, also known as Sujata Kuti Stupa or Sujata Garh, is a Buddhist stupa in the village of Senanigrama (Bakraur), slightly east of Bodh Gaya in Bihar, India. It lies directly across the Phalgu River from Bodh Gaya, where Gautama Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. It is about a 20-minute walk from Bodh Gaya to Sujata Stupa. Initially built in the 2nd century BCE, this is confirmed by finds of Dark Grey polished wares and a punch-marked coin in the nearby monastery.
Indosan Nippon Japanese Temple - This is a monastery built by the Japanese.

Griddhakuta Peak - Also known as The Vulture Peak or Holy Eagle Peak, Gridhhakuta was Buddha’s favorite retreat in Rajagaha (now Rajgir) and the site of many of his discourses. Located in Bihar, India, it is named because it resembles a sitting vulture with folded wings.
