Hi there, We had a wonderful time on the tour. However I was very disappointed that our driver David was unable to allow us to play any music. We booked this tour privately and I was told upon booking that we would be able to play our music during the drive. Our driver said he didn't know how to work the radio and aux chord and we were never able to play our music OR any music at all. He suggested that we play it off our phone. I felt that was very unacceptable. We luckily had games to play with our guests, however due to this I would be hesitant to book a private tour or recommend a private tour with Canadian Craft tours again. Secondly, during booking I was given the suggestion by the person who I booked with to bring along sandwiches, chips and waters as the day can be very long and even with the charcuterie lunch it would be beneficial to have some extra food to help everyone along during the day. When David initially picked us up I asked about putting the cooler on board and his initial response was that we had no room for that. I couldn't believe how rude and unhelpful he was at first. I explained that your booking staff had suggested I bring it and he lightened up a little bit. I did NOT appreciate the hostile first impression. Thirdly, I'm not sure what the 15 minute orientation was meant to be about, however my group was never formally introduced to our driver. He got everyone onboard very quickly and started driving off. There was no explanation of the day, formal introduction of himself, or even the opportunity to set up music. I had to shout over the group to ask him to go over an orientation with us. It seemed very unprofessional. Myself and a number of the ladies onboard have worked in tourism for a number of years. I myself was an onboard host on the Rocky Mountaineer for 8 years and I was quite surprised at how rushed and unprepared our guide seemed to be. The wineries and the time spent at them was professional, enjoyable and we loved every minute of it. However I felt I could hire a van or limo to not only do the same job but in fact a more professional job than what we experienced onboard this tour bus with our driver. For this reason alone I am not satisfied or confident that I will ever recommend or book another tour with Canadian Craft Tours. I hope this feedback reaches your management team and I would appreciate a follow up. Regards, Casey Aelbers
