Exception tour, lots of fun, good info about Jack’s town, beware walking in parts - Lots of fun walking about Gastown. The main story that was told about the lost souls was one that we had already heard from two other tour guides. The tour was very good, and helped us imagine what the origins of Vancouver were like. The in-character tour guide was fantastic; and the tour was very entertaining. Due to Vancouver’s response to deal with drug addiction, homelessness, and drug usage, there is a high concentration of drug addicted persons and persons with other mental health issues that congregate on one city block in close proximity to Gastown. Unfortunately there is spill over into tourist attractions.

A wonderful way to explore the district. - Our Storyteller Amy, clad in 1890’s fashion and clutching a lantern, welcomed us at the meet point and took us on a fun journey back in time to her childhood and growing up in gold rush times. Her humour and photos of olden times all woven around the streets and her life experiences gave us golden nuggets and an entertaining insight into the development of Vancouver.

Creative Engaging Historical Walk! - "Sarah Briers" (portrayed convincingly by Amy Lee Newman) gave us a performance to remember tonight (we booked the 8pm)! She was awesome in her delivery, enthusiasm, and awareness of her tour group. What a way to end a full day of exploring here in beautiful Vancouver! Thank you, Amy, for being a wonderful guide! We certainly became educated in Gastown and Vancouver's interesting history :)

Walking tour - The tour guide kept telling the same story at every stop. The story included Alaska and not just about Vancouver.Could have left out the walking of steep hills and just told the story once. It was interesting to see the steam clock in old town.
