Travelling with Jack to Victoria and & Butchart Gardens - The trip was amazing, the Butchart Gardens being the highlight. The fantastic colours of the many varieties of plants was out of this world. Jack, our driver and guide was extremely knowledgeable of Victoria and the gardens and went out of his way to make our trip memorable. His kindness was amazing to the extent that even though we were in an Airbnb and not a hotel, he dropped us off at the door on his way back to the bus depot. This was very much appreciated as it was a long day and we didn’t get home until about 10pm. Thank you so much Jack! The trip was well worth the cost.

Travelling with Jack to Butchart Gardens - Jack was our driver and guide for the day. He entertained us all day with stories and commentaries about Vancouver, the ferry, Butchart Gardens, Vancouver Island, Victoria. It was an amazing tour and the gardens need to be visited and explored to truly see their beauty. We especially appreciated being dropped off at our front door after the tour was over as it was a very long day but worth every minute!

Butchart Garden - Our tour guide Jason S was amazing. He had the best friendly attitude and abundance of knowledge about this beautiful city.. His compassion towards his tour group was amazing to see .. the Tour was wonderful .The Butchart Garden was heavenly and I could not stop taking pictures.. The tour company was very professional yet easy to work with ..

Highly recommend! - Jason Southern was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about every surrounding from the moment we left Vancouver and back. We learned so many things about the cities and countryside we passed through. He made sure everyone was safe but also had fun. He gave us many recommendations of things to do and places to eat. It was the perfect amount of time to tour through each place.

Great fun tiring day.. I wish we had a different guide - Busy tiring 12 hour day. Butchart gardens are a must see. Gorgeous and I’m really not a garden guy.
Our guide? Well - he was really into it.
Lots of history that I think he LOVED telling.. not sure everyone wanted to hear it so much. Was unclear as to certain procedures - but it all worked out.

Great tour - not long enough in the garden! - The tour itself was great, but they spend an hour picking up everybody at various hotels. The way it’s listed here as one meeting place would be a lot more efficient and leave more time at the fabulous Butchart Gardens. Frankly, I could have stayed there all day and skipped touristy Victoria, but the driver/narrator was excellent, the bus was comfy, and the ferry rides were also fun. This is pricey but WAY easier than trying to figure out all the logistics on your own.

Too much in one tour - This was a long tour at 12 hours with 8 hours of bus or ferry travel. We felt there was no real benefit to having the last stop in Victoria as there was little time to do anything there, and it limited the time at butchart gardens. You would be much better off just taking a tour to Butchart gardens only and spending more time there

Take a packed lunch - This is a long day so take a packed lunch. Our driver Jason was very personable and organised. The distance is what it is and the tour is one way to get to Victoria if you have limited time. The buchart gardens are stunning. I was disappointed with Victoria as we arrived late in the day and I was unsure what direction to head in to maximise time. While the driver mentioned fish and chips I couldn’t find this. I was also unaware that we could go inside the parliament building. The museum was also closing for the day. It would be helpful if there was a written brochure on what to do in 2 hours in Victoria ie a walking map like the one we received at the gardens and suggested lunch spots. It was difficult to hear the driver over the music. He did his best to make the day fun. I have rated this as average as it was quite expensive and the time in Victoria was disappointing.

Lovely trip but not value for money - Over priced tour which essentially is 2hrs at Buchart Gardens (beautiful) and only 1.5hrs in Victoria, very little time to do anything. Guide was great and did his best. Trip includes ferry crossing and garden entry but when you include this in overall tour cost struggle to account for what the other 200 Canadian Dollars we spent each contributed towards the tour.
