• Granville Island - In the 1970’s, Granville Island began its successful transformation from an industrial wasteland to one of the most beloved public spaces in Vancouver. • David Lam Park - David Lam Park is a little under a dozen acres in size. It’s located along False Creek at 1300 Pacific Boulevard next to Yaletown about halfway between the Granville Street and Cambie Street bridges. It’s one of the most notable parks in downtown Vancouver.

• Yaletown - Yaletown was once the Western terminus for the Canadian Pacific Railway, but the area’s more recent reinvention dates back to 1986 when the waterfront along the north of False Creek was host to many of the venues when Vancouver hosted the World’s Fair. Since then that land, along with the warehouse district adjoining it have been transformed into one of the city’s chicest neighbourhoods, filled with residential loft spaces, sidewalk cafes, cool restaurants, unique shopping, and leafy parks. Sitting along the south side of the downtown Vancouver peninsula, Yaletown is bordered by Homer Street, Robson Street and False Creek.

• Plaza of Nations - Once the central hub of Expo 86, the Plaza of Nations is now home to several businesses that include a sports-medicine clinic, night club and marina. With the recent approval by the City of Vancouver to rezone the property so that it can be redeveloped into a vibrant mixed use community that includes an ice rink, community centre, child care facilities and music presentation centre
