Highlights
  • Waterfront Station - The murder investigation kicks off at a hidden starting point near Waterfront Station, on the edge of Gastown. (The starting point is about a 5-minute walk from here - keep an eye on your messages for the exact location.)
  • Angel of Victory - A 3,000-pound, seven-foot-tall bronze statue of an angel lifting a fallen soldier to heaven. Since 1921, there have been three of these statues in Canada, located at CPR stations in Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Montreal.
  • Gastown - Vancouver, British Columbia’s historic neighborhood and a popular tourist spot with cobblestone streets, restaurants, and shops.
  • Cambie Bar & Grill - This bustling bar was once a saloon during the Gold Rush.
  • Steam Clock - The game is on! Don’t forget to snap a photo with your friends at this iconic Gastown landmark.
  • Victory Square - Surrounded by history and coffee shops, this is where you stop to search for a clue.
  • Vancouver - This adventure takes place in downtown Vancouver. You have two hours to solve the mystery and return to your detective, who will tally your score.
  • Vancouver Lookout - Tackle the final challenge almost directly beneath this Vancouver icon, the observation deck atop Harbour Centre. After the game, come back for a stunning view of the city. (Admission not included in the game price.)
  • Hotel Europe - One of several flatiron buildings you’ll encounter on your route, and possibly the oldest.
  • Gastown - A hub of shopping, dining, and bars, plus a diverse mix of residents and businesses.
  • Maple Tree Square - Surrounded by old, tall trees, this square sits at the junction of Carrall, Powell, and Water streets. It was also the site of one of Gastown’s earliest saloons and still leads to Gaoler’s Mews and Blood Alley.
  • Gaoler’s Mews - Believed to be the site of Vancouver’s first jail. Can you hear the ghosts of the prisoners? Now it’s home to two fantastic, award-winning restaurants: L’Abbatoir and Meet.
  • Academie Duello - The premier place to learn swordplay and axe throwing - a school for swashbuckling and dueling.
  • Dressew Fabrics - If you’re in search of fake mustaches, feather boas, or fabrics for sewing, this is the place!
  • Vancouver Lookout - Ride a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the North Shore mountains, and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been a defining feature of the city’s skyline since 1977.

Fun way to see the city and be challenged! - This was a great way to see many sights and learn about the district in a fun way. Some people in our group were more interested in the game, some were taking pictures, some were reading about the sights. The clues were really fun and just challenging enough to make us work a little. Very much like an outdoor escape room. The length seemed just right, as well, and the people were very fun. I would highly recommend for a small group.

Fun Murder Mystery Adventure - It was a fun adventure with the right amount of challenge and walking (even with kids). My only suggestion is that maybe the time could be extended longer so that the neighborhood could be enjoyed more during the process (as we were visitors/tourists), rather than having to rush through areas to solve the case in time. Still, it was a lot of fun!

Well Worth It For Outdoor Brain Exercising! - It was such a fun experience and harder than I expected but still solvable too. Suitable for everyone. And it was great to be walking about outside for the adventure too!
