Day in Vancouver - Our guide was Shaeed. He took us around to all of the different sections of the city, out for coffee, lunch and to the market. Lots of different views and a good way to spend the day after getting off the cruise ship and having a late flight. Our guide was professional and personable!

Best money we ever spent! - Our family pregamed our cruise with Miaad and it was a fabulous experience. We love exploring and learning about new places and this tour did not disappoint. We had our own agenda of places we wanted to see which he worked into his tour and it made for a magnificent day. We saw it all. Miaad is the best. Best money we ever spent! Book it.

Not worth it - Our guide was a very nice man. That being said this was an incredibly boring 6 hours. We booked this tour because we ended our cruise and had 9 hours to kill around Vancouver before heading to the airport. We had luggage making many other day trip options a little more complicated. They were willing to pick us up in the cruise terminal and drop us at the airport so we were sold. There were 2 people traveling and we had 3 suitcases and a carry on bag. The trunk could not accommodate the bags so we had them in the front and back seat with us as well. There were no cup holders (or water offered for that matter) and no way to charge our phones. It seems that this is a minimum requirement for a 6 hour tour. The 2 was basically driving through China town and by a couple parks ( taking less than 1 hour ). Our driver then took us for coffee and spent the remaining time driving us through residential neighborhoods showing us “nice houses”. Finally we suggested just stopping at a restaurant so we spent the last 2 hours having an early dinner! It was nice to have something to do with our luggage for 6 hours but the price they are charging is outrageous for what we received.

Tour guide lacking training - The car was tiny and uncomfortable. The driver did the best he could but didn’t actually know very much about the history or culture of Vancouver. We felt it would have been more comfortable , more informative and of course much cheaper to take the hop on hop off bus tour.

Great tour, lousy vehicle - The driver was very kind and accommodating, we really enjoyed all the stops-especially the market on Granville Island. Would rate the experience 5 stars, but the vehicle we were loaded into was very cramped and uncomfortable with 3 people in the back seat. Also, with no glass roof, it was difficult to take in a lot of the scenery.

Wrong Vehicle Poor Guide - Started with wrong vehicle for this tour. Sights? Views? Sunroof? Not in the backseat of this Tiguan. Missed out on beautiful Vancouver. Blocked view to the front. Tiny windows. Tinted. Front window was so sloped to the driver that from the back seat all you can see in 80% of your view is the hood of the vehicle. Just the wrong car. Didn’t align with a tour that was clearly geared for sights, views, and vistas. No chance. Driver shared they grew up here but didn’t know much local history nor some landmarks. Reading from notes. Good guy, just not a great guide. Billed as a premium experience, Viator failed us here. Price didn’t justify it. Frankly no price would have made the car and guide within an acceptable range this day. The potential of the tour is fantastic and with the right car and guide it would be a winner. Make sure you confirm the car type when securing arrangements.
