Over The Water - We had visited Granville Island and we wanted to get over to the other side of the water so we could walk along to English Bay so we used False Creek Ferries to get across. There were boats running quite frequently. The staff we met were all friendly and welcoming and seemed to have a good handle of getting about with all the other boats that were milling about as well. They were also communicating with each other so they seemed to be on top of everything as an organisation. There is a step down onto the boat so be mindful if you are a person who struggles with mobility. The boat also rocks back and forth so keep an eye on your footing. It did not take long to get across and it was a lovely way to travel rather than walking or driving.

Great way to get to the island… - Great value to get to Granville Island at $7 round trip. Nice way to see the island. Short trip of 2 min versus 40 min walking.

Super easy and so much fun! Highly recommended! - This was a wonderful experience to see many different areas of Vancouver. If your limited with walking, you may not want to try this mode, unless you just go for the boat ride. There are e-bike rentals everywhere too. The staff is very friendly. The boats are small, and with summer in full force, we had to wait for a 2nd boat to arrive a couple times, but never for too long. There is a great parking lot to park a car for the day near the "Village" Science World dock. (Decent rates and close to the doc). There is a 2nd company with ferry boats who share the same docs.... so make sure what line you are standing in. Day pass was the best! But you can buy individual 1 way and R/T tickets too. Buy at doc, online or on the boat! Super easy and so much fun! Highly recommended!

Very difficult to find... - Very difficult to find the first hop on spot. No location markers in the booking beyond a general location. We got on the wrong company's ferries because the operator said it was correct then the next ferry operator clued us into the fact we had tickets to a different ferry. Now the ferry people were all very friendly and the ride was fun but very difficult to find the right hop on spot.

Disappointing and stressful - Disappointing. An emap of the pickup locations would have helped as we were unfamiliar with the stops. Signage and an info person or booth would have helped clarify the process. We would have better enjoyed the 1 hoir narrated harbor tour.

False Creek False Hope - No Boats - Bought the day pass ticket and could not get on a boat, waited 45 minutes and no boat 😡. Kept getting told by passing boats someone would come, eventually someone said they were too busy 🤔. In the meantime Awuabus picked up and dropped off at least every 5 minutes. We bought tickets with the wrong company, they did not have enough boats and were not even interested in trying to provide a service after they took payment.
