Really good way of seeing Valparaiso - Really good experience with Cata. Lot of focus on art of Valparaiso. I’d recommend particularly to get an idea of city if you recently arrived and like street art!

A must do! - Great tour. Definitely recommend. 3 hours was perfect. I think if you did longer you’d get a bit bored. Our guide was super friendly and he kept us very entertained. The perfect was to see art and scenery in Valparaiso

Great tour and Excellent Guide - Excellent trip. Catalina was a lovely guide and answered our many questions. It was very clear she is close to the artistic community of Valparaiso and we felt we were getting an insight into same. I’d really recommend this trip as we got to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have ordinarily.

An amazing tour and well worth the money! Christian is the best!! - Christian was absolutely the best!!! His English is impeccable, his knowledge of the area, including things that he knew because he grew up in the area, was outstanding. Highly highly recommend his service and his company. He truly loves what he does and it shows!!!

Great afternoon - We booked a guided tour of Valparaíso. First of all, they took a traditional trolley bus. We then took one of the famous city cable cars to the beautiful art district. There we strolled through very nice alleys. The afternoon with the guide Ana was very nice. She showed us only beautiful destinations and we learned a lot of interesting facts about Valparaíso. Thank you for that! It is highly recommended!

Great tour experience! - Great tour! Cristian, the tour guide, is fantastic. Patatours is his company. He has a charismatic personality and he is all about service and helping others. He normally would have taken us up a funicular, but the staff were on strike, so he took us by bus instead, to get up to Cerro Alegre (hilly historic neighborhood above the city center). Then we walked back down. Cristian lives in Cerro Alegre and grew up there, so he knows it well. Along the way he took us to a few shops and art galleries, while sharing history, culture, and architecture. He also had helpful tips and information for visitors just arrived and getting oriented in Valparaiso.

Best in Valpo! - Christian was an amazing guide, we saw valpo as a local and with a warm and happy vibe. There is history to learn, artists to meet and amazing views. So many photographic places too, this is a must see and we highly recommend!

Paula was great!! - We took the full day version of this tour with Paula and we had a great time! Paula met up with us in the morning and took us around Valparaiso first to the fish market and then to the flea market in the morning. We used the metro, buses, and a funicular which was great as we never would have figured out the buses or probably found the funicular without her and it really showed us more of the city. She also made reservations for us for lunch at a really delicious seafood restaurant overlooking the city. The food was great and my parents and I enjoyed chatting with her over lunch. After lunch, we walked around Valparaiso to see the street art and murals, and Paula was able to tell us about the art styles and artists, as well as take us into several art studios. The tour was great overall and we had a wonderful time and would fully recommend taking this tour (either just the half day or the full day tour)!

Best way to visit Valparaiso! - If we could rate this experience 10 stars, we would! This tour was PHENOMENAL. Valparaiso is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, and Cristian's passion for his hometown took that beauty to the next level. Cristian tailored the experience based on our interests and used storytelling to create magic at every turn. Not only were my wife and I impressed but our three children (ages 15, 13, and 11) were delighted with the day as well. We visited so much of the city and had a delicious lunch as well. Cristian created a productive, yet relaxed environment, and we felt like family by the end of the day. MUST BOOK!
