Amazing! - It was Amazing! Alan who was the Captain was extremely personable and likable as well as being very knowledgeable as he shared wild life, geographical and historical information regarding our itinerary. In addition the crew did an excellent job. Everyone was extremely nice. We saw lots of wildlife. We got really close to Meares Glacier and witnessed multiple calving events. It was amazing

A must do in Valdez - The Stan Stephens Glacier and Wildlife Cruises is a must when visiting Valdez. The crew does a GREAT job of taking care of all passengers and the captain goes out of his/her way to look for wildlife and the best views along the sound. It's a comfortable boat and they even serve a lunch.

AMAZING GLACIER CRUISE WITH FRIENDS - Beautiful experience getting to see all the amazing wild life!
Eagles, Sea Lions, Cute Otters, Puffins,Whales (Mom and Baby—just swimming), and a short sighting of a Black Bear. BUT the BEST part was the Glacier!! Such beauty!!!!!

The highlight of our time in Valdez! - The highlight of our time in Valdez!
Our Captain, Amanda was incredible. Her knowledge of the area was astounding. Her passion for the area & state of Alaska was ever present. Beyond Amanda, the crew was spot on. They were knowledgeable and so friendly.
Getting as close to the Mears Glacier as we did was a real treat.
We were fortunate to encounter a pod of 9 orcas. What a joy it was to watch them. The cruise exceeded all our expectations. A bonus with the cruise is the bagel breakfast and the great lunch. It was a day well spent and a day that will be remembered for a very long time. Thank you to Amanda and the crew for making it so special.

Glacier and wildlife on one cruise!!! - Excellent wildlife and Meares Glacier cruise. Very informative and kind crew on board and a nice hot lunch. Definitely would recommend this day cruise.

Great cruise to experience while in Valdez, Alaska - Cruise went as expected. The vessel itself was excellent. The entire crew and services offered was also excellent. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see any whales but there was an abundance of other wildlife that we were able to see. The Mears glacier was amazing. The captain gave us ample time to observe and enjoy the view of the glacier and provided great information on the glacier and surrounding areas.

Read your ticket for show time - Every time this trip is great. Captain and crew very professional. Captain very knowledgeable about the sound and wildlife. We read the ticket wrong for the show time and was running behind they called use ask if we would on the boat. Luckily we were 5 min away from the dock and got on the boat as the last people.

Superb - We loved this day out. Compared to a similar excursion from Seward: there I got seesick, in V the see is calmer, there we saw much more whales (orcas and humpback), here the landscape was prettier, the glaciers are "equal". The best in the end: slight preference for Seward

Stan Stevens Glacier Tour - Very nice to trip. Captain was very informative about the area and finding us things to see. Despite the slight rains everything went well. Got to see the Mears Glacier up close. Food served at lunchtime was good. The crew were very entertaining with their antics. Highly recommend this tour.

They delivered on both wildlife and glacier viewing! - What a terrific day we had on the Wildlife & Meares Glacier Tour. Our captain, Amanda, was superb making time for us to observe both a mother and baby Humpback Whales as well as Orcas. We saw lots and lots of sea otters both as we left Valdez Harbor and as we approached Meares Glacier. There were harbor seals on ice floes and in the water by the glacier. We saw Stellar Sea Lions and puffins at Glacier Island. The food was just right. Highly recommend this tour.
