You'll love the view - The bus picked us up on time at our motel. The driver was very happy to see us and friendly. The ride to the plantation was also enjoyable. Our driver, Donna was very informative about how our itinerary. The plantation was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and very informative. The guides really knew their stuff. We weren't able to go on the swamp tour due to lightning storms and wind in the area. But they were able to refund or reschedule (whichever we preferred). Tobe never seen anything like this plantation and once you see it you'll never forget the beautifulness of it and the history of it.

Great Tour! - I recently took a combined plantation and swamp tour, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The plantation tour was both informative and moving—our guide did an excellent job of presenting the complex and often painful history with respect and depth. The grounds were beautiful, and walking through the historic buildings gave me a real sense of life during that era, from both the grandeur of the main house to the sobering stories of those who lived and worked there under enslavement. The swamp tour was equally unforgettable. Cruising through the moss-draped cypress trees, we spotted alligators, herons, and even a racoon! Our swamp guide was incredibly knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor and a clear passion for the environment. It felt like stepping into another world—peaceful, wild, and full of life. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience both the natural beauty and the historical depth of the region. It was educational, eye-opening, and absolutely worth it.

Nice excursion - Oak Alley, nice place but would have liked to know more about the people who lived there and about the slaves' lives, it was a bit thin. Not as big as it looks in the pictures. Swamp Tour, with the "big boat", a quiet and incredibly nice tour with an amazing guide, his name is Joe?, who knew lots about the nature and animals in the swamp, recommended

I did not realize how... - I did not realize how much time was spent on the bus in the morning picking up other passengers throughout the city. There was little time to view the grounds when we arrived before our tour began. We were not pleased with our tour guide. His name was Wes and only provided minimal information. He was knowledgeable but was sarcastic and provided information on a need-to-know bases. The grounds were spectacular! I would have liked to spend more time there.

For those who like to ride a bus. - It is a full day tour but you will spend several hours on the bus. Plantation visit and swamp tour were fine. Had we known about the bus travel time, we would not have signed up.

Tour 4/25 - There wasn't enough time between the mansion tour and catching the bus at 12:15 for the swamp tour. Our bus drivers were wonderful and our mansion guide was very knowledgeable.

Pick up locations. - Tour was great. Had a wonderful time. Only issue was I provided pick up address and was expecting to be picked up in front of the hotel. They were only picking up on the main street but was not informed about that. They did call me and was finally picked up. Maybe having several designated pick up locations would be helpful.
