Very interesting historical tour - Great place to visit for an insight into what life was like for a sugar plantation family and their slaves. Able to see slave cabins to get an idea of what life was like. Our guide Caroline was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting with her narrative. Thoroughly recommend.

Recommend, great place! - The tour guide was great! Not only did we learn the history of the people who lived there but we also got to walk through the house and the sites were beautiful. They have English and French tours! Cute gift shop and garden.

Enriching visit - Laura Plantation is a must during a stay in Louisianne. In 1h15 of guided tour (in French, with Joseph), we plunged into the heart of the life of the inhabitants of the Plantation over 4 generations. The visit was captivating and informative. I recommend!

Better understanding of the real start of plantation life on both sides - What a great experience. Kristin was a wonderful guide with so much passion and knowledge about Laura. The tour gives a real inside look at what went on in a real plantation. One thing she said that wax so profound was: “ The house and these families were integrated but were not equal.” We recommend going if you ever get a chance.

Afternoon We'll Spent - Buildings are nice to walk through but our tour guide really made it interesting and enjoyable. The pace gave us enough time to learn about the past residents and the history of the families.

Just one word: GREAT! - This is the best plantation tour we've done during our stay. Our guide Joseph was such a passionate super narrator who immersed us in the story of 4 generations of a family. This is not a superficial visit but an authentic one. It was absolutely awesome!
