UYUNI SALT FLATS
Salar de Uyuni - Start your tour leaving Uyuni town at 10:30am with a visit to Uyuniâs train graveyard. Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners´s workshops), see handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca. Next, visit âOjos de Agua Saladaâ and a hotel made completely of salt which is currently being used as museum, then the world flags in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flats and Dakar monument.
Following, take a short hike to âIsla Incahuasiâ to see giant cactus and rock formations made of petrified coral. Then have lunch.
Afterwards, enjoy a unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats, and finally arrive to San Juan town to have dinner and night stay in the hostel made of salt.
