SUNSET AT THE SALAR DE UYUNI
Uyuni - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or the bus terminal to begin the tour. The first stop is a site of abandoned trains on the outskirts of the Salar de Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia. Located southwest of Uyuni city, just a few kilometers from the city center, it is reputed to be the largest railway cemetery in the world. During the journey, travelers will pass through various salt eyes as they enter the vast Salar. Lunch will be provided along the route. The tour will continue past Incahuasi Island and the Dakar monument. This is where the expansive salt flat offers opportunities for stunning photographs and optical illusions. At sunset, the group will head to the water mirrors to witness the sunset, reflecting the beautiful and boundless sky, a place where earth and sky seem limitless. The tour concludes with a return to the hostel.
PULACAYO MINE, COLONIAL CHURCH
Aguas Termales de Polques - Guests will be picked up from the hostel around 9:30 am to commence the journey. The tour will pass by the main Pulacayo silver mine, followed by a visit to the Colonial Church. There will be an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs and saunas. Lunch will be provided along the route. The tour will then visit at least three lagoons of varying colors, which are part of the Altiplanic Lagoons. The visit will conclude with a trip to the New World Desert, returning to the city of Uyuni by 6:00 p.m.
