A truly wonderful 4by4 adventure. - First of all…. Wanna say a big Thank U to Ivan for the wonderful experience. Your energy, knowledge of the land , and passion made this trip truly wonderful. Bolivia took my breadth away. I still think the Bolivian salt flats , cactus island should be one of the natural wonders of the world. The Flamingoes, so close and so abundant. The desert calm n openness is nothing short of wonder…. That said, from the price point, one must be realistic that this tour will some rough moments. 1) the Toyota land cruiser is not designed tor 5 tall guys as the furtherest back seat cannot be seated comfortably for those hours of long ride.. Max 4 travelers per tour . 2) Be prepared that the cabins out in the desert to have no heaters in the rooms, weak water pressure n no or limited wifi access. Our second cabin had electricity only for Two hours. Ultimately , i think it was worth it to “rough” it out , so that I get to enjoy the Splendour and beauty of the place. But i do know it will not for everyone. So i felt the tour operator needed to be transparent about the infrastructure.

A complete scam! RUN! - I urge you to NOT book your tour with this operator. These guys are rude, unprofessional and straight up scammers. We booked our tour with months in advance and when we arrived they had completely forgot to buy our tickets to cross the border to Chile. They started making up lies saying that the border was closed due to a snow fall, but unfortunately for them we do speak spanish and we could fully comprehend their conversation on the phone with one of the colleagues who had forgotten to book our place. We confronted the lady who was lying to our face and obviously we were getting upset and she STARTED FILMING US with her phone! Provoking us and filming us, claiming that she would be sending the video of us "being rude" to Viator to make sure we would not get our refund. Absolutely batshit ridiculous and disgusting. We were even agreeing to come back to Uyuni if the border was indeed closed, but she then proceeded to tell us the car had left without us already - when we arrived WAY before time and were talking to her the whole time. This was the WORSE experience I've ever had with any tour operator, and I've been to 110 countries so far and travel for a living. When we shared our review on Google, they had the audacity to reply saying that they "cannot control the weather" and making something up about a flight. We were lucky enough to manage to book a tour with another operator (Expediciones Manuel) and it went SUPER smoothly, the border was never closed, and we got absolute confirmation that they were lying to cover up their incompetence (as if listening to their convo on the phone wasn't enough). The lady there is absolutely unfit to handle customers and she should not be employed anywhere that requires public interaction, her atitude is revolting to say the least. Just as a curiosity, before us, she was shaming and being extremely agressive to another customer and his pet. Mistreating animals is just the cherry on top of the cake. Disgusting! Made us waste one day of our trip.
