Train Cemetery - The Train Cemetery in Uyuni is a major tourist attraction. It is a desolate place full of abandoned railway machinery. When we see that pantheon of twisted iron and disused locomotives, we think of the glorious past they had at the beginning of the 20th century. The rise of silver mining demanded the construction of railways and Uyuni was the place in Bolivia where the whistle of a train was heard for the first time.

Colchani - The population of Colchani has 580 inhabitants whose economic activities are linked to the extraction of salt, agriculture (real quinoa), crafts and tourism. It is the mandatory stopping point on the way to the majestic Uyuni salt flat, one of the peculiarities of the place is the construction of small houses made of salt bricks and one of its attractions, in addition to the salt factory, are the craft stalls located on the street major.

- Purchase of handicrafts at the zero point of the population of Colchani.
- Visit to the salt processor and the Salt Museum in Colchani.
- View of the first Salt Hotel “Playa Blanca” today known as the main salt museum in the area.
Uyuni Salt Flat - Your visit will be guided by the following cultural heritage of the Salar de Uyuni:
- Salt Stairs: Designed with the purpose of allowing the taking of photographs with special optical effects. An overwhelming saline ensemble loaded with the most authentic beauty.
- Dakar Rally Monument and the endless forest of flags: You will observe the flags worldwide, central symbol of Bolivia, heart of Latin America.
- Salt Pyramid: From this point, you will observe the mountains outlined on the horizon, minimized by the distance and by the majesty imposed by the infinite salt plateau.
- Polygons and Ojos de Sal: In the upper crust of the Salar, you will distinguish the so-called brine eyes. These are small holes formed by fine, sharp crystals like needles, accompanied by polygonal figures in the immense whiteness of the Salar.
Isla Incahuasi - Our guide will accompany you to Incahuasi Island, characterized by being one of the high altitude islands whose soil is made up of fossils of algae, mollusks and other organisms known as stromatolites. There a vegetation composed of cactaceous plants develops.
It is located in the central part, 74 km from Colchani. It has a steep surface of 24 hectares and the highest point is 40 meters above the salt level.
Tunupa Volcano - Your tour will continue to the Thunupa Volcano and its surroundings, with sighting of Andean Flamingos and panoramic views of the Salar de Uyuni.
You will learn the history and myths of this mysterious tourist attraction that, according to the community, there was a time when the mountains walked, talked and had human forms.
You will visit the city of Coqueza located at the foot of the Tunupa volcano on the shores of the salt flat

Tayka de Sal - After dinner at the Tayka Salt Hotel, you will enjoy a night walk through the Uyuni salt flats to observe the stars of the magical saline desert.
From Tahua to Uyuni
Tayka de Sal - On the second day of your tour you will be able to watch the sunrise near the Hotel Tayka de Sal and enjoy your breakfast.
Coqueza Canton - Your tour will continue with a visit to the Chantani museum and the town of Coqueza. From there you will ascend to the top of the Thunupa volcano to get a 360° view of the Salar de Uyuni.
Tunupa Volcano - You will visit the cave of the mummies before making the descent to the base of the Volcano.
Uyuni - You will continue your journey to Uyuni, enjoying snacks along the way, as well as the impressive sunset in the middle of the majestic Salar de Uyuni.
