Super nice walk through Utrecht - He can tell very passionately about Utrecht .... We had English friends with us, who also appreciated it very much.

Excellent tour of the old city! - The gentleman who guided our tour is a good story teller and shared so much information about the stops on the tour. He has a good sense of humor as well! There were visitors from many countries in our group, and he seemed to be able to speak with all of us. This tour is highly recommended to spend just a couple of hours learning about the city.

Entertaining experience - The tour of Utrecht was very exciting and informative. We could even visit one of the many cellars directly on the canal. Paula was a great companion who let the two hours with her stories pass very quickly.

Don’t pay, this tour is FREE (but fantastic!) - NOTE: THIS TOUR IS FREE AND YOU CAN JUST TURN UP WITHOUT A TICKET. As with any free walking tour, tips are given at the end. Aside from this, really fantastic walking tour with a very knowledgeable guide!

A must-do tour in Utrecht! - This was an excellent tour, Marjolein was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide! It is clear she loves sharing about Utrecht with others and I learned so much. This was the first time I’ve ever tried one of these walking tours. It really unlocked a whole new level of fulfillment in travel to have an accessible tour I could add on short notice and be amongst others who also love learning the history of a place. It will always be on my itinerary to find one. You appreciate the city so much more.

Great tour! - Marjolein was very knowledgeable and friendly and we really enjoyed the tour.
She spoke clearly and slowly and gave us a lot of history of the city .

Excellent walking tour! - We had just arrived in The Netherlands from a direct flight from the United States. We dropped off our luggage at the boutique hotel and found our way to the Dom Tower( very easy to see in the old city center). We saw the woman with the Free Walking Tour umbrella and introduced ourselves. There were two other people on our tour a man living and working in Utrecht and his dad visiting from Australia. The five of us had a wonderful time learning all about the history of Utrecht from our guide as we walked around the beautiful old city. Our guide grew up in Utrecht and her love of the city came through in all the little stories she shared with us. She also gave us recommendations of a couple shops to find the best gifts of Utrecht and some places to eat. We saw her the next day when we were getting ready for our bicycle tour of windmills and said hi. We would definitely recommend this tour (it is free and we just gave our guide a tip afterwards). It is the best way to meet locals, learn about the area where you visiting, and meet other travelers. Great to do on your first day there!

City tour Utrecht - The tour was exciting and interesting.
We were in places we probably wouldn't have found or visited on our own.
The guide was very sympathetic and spoke very good English and passably German. The other participants were not German-speaking, however, so everything was in English.
Good language skills are therefore essential.
We can recommend it.
