- Vecht - A charming, winding river. In the 17th and 18th centuries, numerous country estates were constructed along the Vecht’s banks by affluent merchants and administrators from Amsterdam.
- Breukelen - Features an impressive castle dating back to around 1275 AD, now home to an International Business University.
- Castle-Museum Sypesteyn - Boasts a lovely garden.
- Lage-Vuursche - This area offers a protected village view with several 18th and 19th-century houses and numerous national monuments. The reformed church dates back to 1650.
- Paleis Soestdijk - Originally a 17th-century building, Soestdijk served as a former royal palace. From 1937, it was the residence of Crown Princess and later Queen Juliana of the Netherlands and her German husband, Prince Bernhard van Lippe-Biesterfeld.
- Loosdrechtse Plassen - The Loosdrechtse Plassen (Lakes of Loosdrecht) is a vast area for water sports and nature, situated between Amsterdam and Utrecht.
- Goois Natuurreservaat - A forest near Lage Vuursche featuring beautiful ‘forest tunnel roads’.
- Nieuwe-Wetering - A very rural area, not quite a village, with charming farmhouses.
- Molen Geesina - The Geesina is a flour mill likely built in 1843. It has been restored and continues to produce flour.
- Fort Ruigenhoek - A fortress of the New Dutch Water Line Defence System, constructed between 1869-1870. Unfortunately, in 1940, the Germans were able to fly over it. Located near Utrecht, not Almere.
- Slot Zuylen - A 13th-century castle. The Dutch 18th-century French-speaking writer and composer resided here. She was extraordinarily well-educated and quite emancipated, known for her numerous books, correspondences, and striking statements: ‘I have no talent for subordination’ and ‘I want to be a citizen of “everyone’s country”.’

- At least one of the two participants is an adult who is responsable for the non-adult.
