Saw lots of Orcas whales and seals with pups! - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our whale watching tour with Orcas Island Eclipse Charters. Thanks to Captain Beau and naturalists Sam and Sean .

Amazing views of playful orcas and a great crew - Our family group had a great time on this whale watch tour. We had three adults and two children, ages 7 and 3. Karl, the captain, carefully got us where we could see orcas, a bald eagle, and harbour seals sunning with their pups. The naturalist, Sean, was full of interesting facts about the orcas and other wildlife and answered every question with a lot of interesting detail. They actually took extra time when they spotted a second group of orcas, which ended up putting on quite a show. It was well worth the time and money spent. It was hard for the children to spot the orcas and other wildlife, especially the three-year-old, but we had brought plenty of snacks on board for the kids and that kept them going through the long ride back to shore. Be sure to bring binoculars along. The boat doesn't get nearly as close to the orcas as the picture shows. You could see them with the naked eye, but not in detail.

Great Experience! - Amazing experience! We saw harbor seals, sea lions and two pods of orcas. Trevor was great with giving all of the info about the whales and explaining things. To be honest I was a little bit apprehensive to book a whale tour because I was afraid it was going to be crowded and touristy, but I am so glad we went! Highly recommend booking a tour as part of your San Juan’s vacation!

Amazing experience - Such an amazing experience!! We were able to see a grey whale. We were able to observe the whale for awhile, and we saw a sea lion. The crew were so knowledgeable and personable. They made the experience so much more enjoyable.

Excellent Afternoon on the Water - This was a wonderful afternoon adventure. The weather was perfect and it was great being out on the water with a lot of beautiful scenery. The San Juan Islands are very scenic. The whale watching went very well, too. A pod of orcas was hunting for food. Much of the action was beyond the range of my phone camera, but two orcas swam right by the boat. Our group saw sea lions, harbor seals, African big-horn sheep (on Speiden island) and sea birds. Our crew, (Liberty, Celeste and Captain Jake) were awesome!

A lovely day - Despite the frigid weather, it was a lovely experience. We saw a humpback breach, and a pod of Orcas. Great day

Well worth your time! - We had a wonderful time. The staff who led the excursion were great! And we saw a humpback whale along with other marine life.

Best whale watching trip - Having a marine biologist guide (Liberty) was awesome - we learned a lot more than on other whale watching trips in the past. And we were incredibly fortunate to encounter a group of 6 mammal eating orcas in the midst of a hunt.

Orcas Island Whale Watching - Had a beautiful day on the water. We saw one loner Orca, harbor seals, an otter, and lots of eagles. Had a great experience.

Groupon not accepted - I missed the place on their booking site where I could redeem my Groupon 40% discount. I decided to book at full price and work out the discount with them when I arrived. They would not accept the discount so I wound up paying $180 more for my whole family just because I did not push the right button.
